The Midtown Skirt is our riff on a traditional tennis skirt, a seamless interior short with a pleated skirt overlay. Wear it to play tennis, or do more -- with UV protection, unique fabric and multi-functional design. The inner short, which is upper-thigh length, has a storage pocket and our proprietary tiered compression waistband provides a perfect fit.

    It Looks Small, But It Actually Fits Well!

    My husband purchased this skirt as a gift. When I saw the tiny skirt in the box, I thought I would have to exchange it for a large, but it fits perfectly. I have played tennis in it twice already and it performs perfectly. The pockets hold balls and the shorts don't ride up.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Wilson Midtown Tennis Skirt overall, with sizing being the only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five. I’m between sizes, and the Small felt a little big with more fabric than I prefer, while the XS was a touch snug. That said, the XS fits well enough that I expect it to relax and stretch slightly with wear. The slate blue color is beautiful and truly stands out on court. I received multiple compliments when I wore it to sectionals at the USTA campus in Florida, which says a lot. The skirt is flattering, comfortable to play in, and performs well during long matches. If you’re between sizes, expect a bit of trial and error—but once you find your sweet spot, it’s a great piece to have in your tennis wardrobe.
