Bought these for my wife who has very wide feet in the front, not heel. These were the only tennis shoes I could find that were flexible in that area. The alternative is flyknit type running shoes that are not supportive and the sole wears out extremely fast. Most tennis shoes have a rigid plastic piece to prevent the shoe from tearing while dragging or sliding. So the flexibility and durability of the sole is the great part. BUT, I have returned two pairs of these because the fabric in the heel became loose and eventually tore away after 5 pickleball games. So in summary, great fit but poor quality.
