Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grip for tired hands I have arthritis in my hands and normally play Jumbo grips to eliminate the impact shock. During my last re-grip I switched to the mid size Dri-Tacs and love them. They fit my hand better and still absorb the shock. They also seem to last longer than my Winn Jumbo wraps. I live in humid Central Florida and with their tackiness I can still play without a glove. Just a note: when playing larger grips there is always a debate on whether large grips may keep you from turning your hands over creating a fade. I have never really noticed any difference in my ball flight from standard thru 1/8" jumbo. It may be just me but I still have a slight draw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than cord grips for me I play several times a week and noticed that my hands would hurt the next morning. I stopped into our local store and the golf pro asked me about the grips on my set and I told him I had Winn corded grips. He said those do tend to be hard on the hands (especially for older folks - I am 56) and recommended the DRI-TAC.I was hesitant at first but I said OK. They did just the irons and, wow, what a huge difference. I immediately had them do my hybrids and woods. My hands don't hurt and the club feels so much more secure in my hands. I feel like I have more control over the club during my swing.I suspect I will use this type of grip from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product, and even better service!!! As always, the service in Dick's Sporting Goods was beyond the exception. The store was clean and orderly. The associates in each department were very nice. The golf pro was really helpful. We determined my best approach to the products, and he also gave me some good advice. Wow, that kind of experience tends to make a customer remember your address. As for the Winn golf grips, well, if you play golf like I do, without a glove, then the Winn Dri-Tac grips are the ones for you. Lastly, the cashier was amazing. She was patient with me in helping me to locate my past records so that the purchase points would be recognized. To explain my appreciation in a shorter version would be impossible for me. So, thank you for your service, and your time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for me I have used the Winn grips for a few years now. I usually get two seasons out of them before one or two clubs start showing wear. These were competitively priced and Dick's also installed them for me same day for a reasonable fee. My biggest issue was that they did not have more than 3 of any particular color in stock at my local store. Had to buy 3 of one variety and 2 of another. Not a huge deal in itself, but I would have gone elsewhere if someone else local had them in stock. Just so happened that this was the only local store that did, and online prices were the same as here. I will continue to buy the Winn grips until I replace my entire set, and that will be a long time from now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too spongy for my driver I had a standard size Dri-Tac grip installed on my driver, and my driving immediately became very erratic. I'm usually a fairly consistent, straight, long driver for my age. At first there were slices. Tried to correct the slicing and started hooking. I couldn't control the club because the Dri-Tac grip was so soft and "spongy" it allowed the driver to move in my hands when the ball was impacted. Once the club nearly spun out of my hands from rotational club movement at impact. Played 36 holes with this grip and had it replaced with a Lamkin grip. Now I'm hitting my driver again, long and straight. The Dri-Tac grips look and feel great, but they allow too much rotational movement for my game!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great feel - wear out really fast Picked this grip out at Dick's to replace a standard Callaway grip on my driver. The grip looked and felt great, liked the feel of the larger mid-sized grip, and was blasting the ball. Then it started to show signs of wear after a month. Now it's to the point wear it needs replacement. Where the heal of my left hand and thumb of my right sit on the club have completely worn throughout the soft outer layer of the grip. I play golf three times a week on average and don't want to regroup my clubs every three months. My old clubs that had Lampkin Crossline grips still look and feel great after two seasons of use. So, I gave the grips three stars because they have a nice feel and give a good grip on the club but I had to subtract two stars because they just don't last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent grips for woods One of the biggest problems I have is finding the right grip for driver, 3 wood and hybrids. This is a very comfortable grip that allows you to worry less about the grip and focus on the sing. The hands fit very comfortably and then is very little tension between the hands and grip. The best way to explain is like taking the grip you originally got with the club and making the grip a little bigger, stronger but softer. When you put your strong hand on the grip it feels like it does not move at all during the swing. The grip is so important to a swing and this grip really helps.
