I bought this about a month ago. Looked at tons of reviews and tried to find as much info as I could. I was simply tired of dull kitchen knives. The cheap quicky sharpers have there place, but I've work as a prep cook before and I know a good sharp knife when I use it. I also admit I am not a professional knife sharpener. However with a few minutes I was already getting really good results with this. Now it's early so I'm still in the break-in phase. But so far I really like it. If you take your time and follow the direction you'll be cutting meat, or your fingers in no time!

Yes The Sharpener Do'es Sharpen
This product was an x-mas gift. It does sharpen. But as an old sharpener from the old school I think hand sharpening is still better. Yes it takes a lot longer but the stone and belt system seems sharper. For the younger generation, but for us old timers slower is better."only my opinion"

Does Great Job
Your better off starting, what ever your sharpening, from scratch even though it had been sharpened before with another tool..and it does take a little time to get used to..

Work Sharp Works Good
I like the tool it does do what it advertises, I would like to see a better selection of belts it goes from fine to extra supuer fine or extra course.I think that it hard to tell if there is much of a difference when going from 220 grit to 6000 ther needs to be some inbetween grits.
