I bought this sharpener to put a edge on a everyday knife I carry before work and must say it has become much more then that. The diamond plates cut through a damaged edge so quick you want to take your most damaged knife and make it a razor. The ceramic rod and leather strap make for a edge that will shave. You can change a edge profile so easy with this small compact setup like no other sharpener I've ever used. Worth every penny if you ask me.

I love the Work Sharp Guided Field Knife Sharpener. It's good for what I need it for. It's easy to carry around in your backup, lightweight and quick to get your EDC knives and hooks in working order. The provided guide is a definite plus until you get used to sharpening your knives freehand. Good to throw into your Bug-out Bag too. Very handy tool that everyone should have!
