Rated 2 out of 5 by from The reel seat is shifting I got this rod with all good intentions for inshore fishing paired with a Penn Spinfisher V 4500, rigged with 20lb power pro, rod looks great, after a few months, say once per month fishing, I noticed the reel seat began shifting. Unfortunately I do not live in th USA, I had purchased this rod online in which a good friend brought it for me in th Caribbean. I guess I will just have to join the batch of persons who got a bad deal. So much for watching Blair Wiggins, he is all happy. You think I can get some assistance Blair?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from When they dont break, great rod! Bought 3 of these and all snapped. Two near the tip, one at the base of the middle section. Definitely get the Extended Service Contract!!! Have 1 working rod now, made of a piece of each - Frankenrod!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this travel rod Took to beach fish in Central America, paired with 4500 series as advised and it casts like a dream. Nice color and case. Only minor complaint and it is minor is there was no carry strap but I made one from a surfboard strap and works fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Same Thing! First cast and tip just broke. This can't be a coincidence. Really bummed about this as I was exited to get this rod and now Im stuck looking for another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Rod I loved the one piece so much(7'6" med action)I also bought the travel model and honestly I would be hard pressed to tell the difference flexing them if blindfolded. They are very light and thin and while I havent caught anything bigger then 15 lbs I watched Blair Wiggins himself land a 200 lb tarpon off Fla. on his show with 20lb test. Rod is gorgeous!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great rod for travel i saw this rod online not having much information on wright and mcgill checked out there web site and was surprised to see the quality. When i thought of there company i thought of eagle claw but they have products that are equale to most high end rods for a much better price. This rod is nice for travel because it breaks down into 3 sections but has a nice smooth flex with out the stiff spots it casts like a cannon has a good stiff but with just enough tip flex to remaine senitive. I liked it so much i also bought the casting model and it to is just as good
