Rated 1 out of 5 by from They'd be great if they didn't snap! Love the balance and action of these rods. Unfortunately, they just don't hold up. I've now had three snap this season during normal use; two while retrieving modest fish (3lb rockfish, 10lb king salmon) and one simply trolling! Going back to the cheapo Okuma Classic rods; soft action but at least they hold up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent rod for the $$$ No complaints , have caught many steelheads ranging from 6-10 lb range during this years spring run. So far it has done the job for the price I paid .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value Flexible tip with a strong backbone for those larger fish. Very comfortable handle and finger well. The black color allows it to be paired with any casting reel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rod at a bargain price I bought the 9'3" H for fall Klamath fall Chinook to accompany my Fenwick HMX. I liked the W&M so much better I bought a second rod for a back up. The W&M casts 1-4 oz without a hiccup. It handled fish up to 40 lbs with no problem. I highly recommend this rod if you're target species

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rod for the price! Bought the 9ft heavy rod for fall chinook on the lower snake river. Best move i could have made. Great casting and hook setting power. Landed 16lb and 18lb males in strong river currents with ease!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bang for buck I purchased this rod for my self Christmas eve for $40.00 I used it for a B run steelhead bobber rod and it worked great banked over 40 with it. It's a little stiff for steelhead drifting. I use lamiglas for steelhead and salmon drifting but I'm sure it would work great for salmon drifting I always bring it for my back up. Excellent value for 40.00 don't know that I would pay 70.00 for it I may go for a Berkeley Air its a toss up???????

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for plunking it is a little light for 10oz and does 8oz ok works good for the 25 yard I was casting and has good back bone in the base for putting the breaks to larger fish. just a little more in the tip and this would be a 5 star. would work great out of a boat for herring and running spinners would handle 16oz out of the boat maybe a bit more all in all it will work great for what I bought it for
