True to size for me. Ive been wearing mine for outside ranch work for two years I usually wear in spring and fall when its wet but dont want to wear tall rubber boots. Holding up longer than I expected, however. The tongue is not as sturdy as the rest of the materials and is a weak link, wears much faster compromising the waterproof quality. I did take some tongues off a pair of packer boots and that seems to have somewhat helped that issue at any rate. Also, I have now worn them so much the back of the heel where the rubber meets the leather is rubbing holes in my heels but I like them so much I still wear them. Ive also noticed these boots go through laces like nobodies business, not sure why maybe the eyelets.

I would size up at least a half size. They seem small with socks. They are extremely stiff and hard to break in. They dont bend so its hard ti walk normal. Comparing to the sperry duck boots I owned for 10 years.

These boots are so cute! I wore them with shorts when my family and I went creek fishing for trout. My feet stayed nice and dry. Was my first time wearing them and they were very comfortable. Not heavy, but they feel durable, like they'll last.They also look cute with a pair of jeans. Cant wait for winter so i can wear them more often. My husband loved how they looked on me, I got a compliment from him real quick😉 I'm a 8.5 and purchased a 9. They fit good

I was warned to order a size up because I have wider feet and they fit small. That was wrong. A size 9 would've been perfect. However these are the best shoes I've had yet working in an autoshop. My feet don't hurt and I don't slip. It's Fantastic

Not true to size - I’m a solid 9 in boots and these fit more like 8-8.5

Was so disappointed that the boots felt heavy and hurt my feet. Even without the shoestrings being fully tightened, the front of my toes would go numb after walk a few minutes and then after loosening the strings more, not getting enough ankle support I could feel my toes again. I had read other reviews about pinching in the back of the foot and I had hoped that after a couple more wears it would stop but with more wears it just made the rubbing to blister happen faster. Before I could walk in them for 40+ min, and now after 10 my foot begins to blister and numb. These shoes def are not too small for my feet. This came so highly recommended that I made the investment and I’m sad that after a year I’m going to have to throw them out. Seems like there is product inconsistency too which is another disappointment.

These boots are cute but as many of the other reviews warned, they are extremely uncomfortable. The stitching is super thick and stiff and the instep too low. This means that the seam presses the top of my foot and my toes go numb from my nerves being cut off.

I have a pair of the tall boots and love them so thought I’d try the shorter lace version. I wear a size 6.5 normally and the size 7 fit me in both styles of this boot. But the very first time I wore them, I got blisters on the back of my heels within the first half hour. The lacing doesn’t provide support for the ankle, so to keep the boot stable, you have to tie it tighter at the top so it digs into the shin. It feels abit like wearing a cardboard Kleenex box on your feet. I hope I can find the love for these that other reviewers have, so far the break in period is grim and these don’t feel good for much more than standing still. Or sitting down I guess.

Have multiple pairs of deck boots at our house and wanted to try these cool looking Legacy Lace boots but after wearing the super comfortable deck boots these really cut into my heel/foot where the top of the boot and the bottom are seamed together. Might just be my foot but caused pain and had to return.

I was looking forward to my first pair of XtraTufs, but unfortunately they didn’t work for me without half sizes. I typically wear a 7.5 (in Keen Hiking boots, for example), and I ordered both the Women’s 8 and 9 in these boots. They looked great, but the 9 was far too big and the 8 was just small enough to be uncomfortable. An 8.5 would have been perfect! I noticed other buyers had the same problem. Super cute and sturdy, and the leather was beautiful, but I will be looking elsewhere! Very sad!

Got theses boots for my Alaska visit. I was a little concerned about how heavy they were but when actually wore them on various hiking adventures that included wet, slippery trails, I was so impressed. The traction was remarkable and did not feel heavy. I used them everyday. Wonderful product.

These boots are top quality! I would say if you are beteeen sizes, definitely size up. I originally bought an 8 (normally wear an 8-8 1/2) and the fit was a little small. They will most certainly keep your feet dry, and they look great with whatever you wear!

They keep my feet warm and dry! I normally wear size 8 and that's what I got. They fit perfect with wool socks but also fit with hand warmers. Most importantly, they are waterproof but somehow also let my feet breathe, so My feet don't sweat.

my wife loves your boats so i ordered the legacy size 7 same as salmon sisters. They were way to small and we had to send them back.
