Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kayak fishing must-have This is my third purchase and installation of a YakGear anchor trolley kit. I loved it on my first two kayaks and had to have it for my new Pelican Catch 100 also purchased from Dick’s. I often fish areas where winds and/or currents carry me away from a hot spot and force me to quit fishing in order to paddle back to where the fish are. The trolley allows me to stay put and to be pointed in the right direction at the same time. Installation was easy thanks to multiple how-to videos on the internet. Only tools required are a drill and a Phillips screwdriver or rivet gun. Great product at a good price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not happy couldn't get product at dicks locally so had to order and pay shipping. product is poor quality for cost and better parts can be purchase at hardware store for less. had to modify pulley's to get them to stay in place and not pull out of hull. threw away plastic triangle that connects rope ends and replaced with metal. too much money for a couple cheep parts. have been building/repairing boats/yachts for 35 years. think I'll start buying quality parts wholesale and give yak-gear a run.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good kit..mostly junk I would say makes a good boat anchor....but! Confusing directions as to parts kit...rope supplied is complete junk...thought originally left too much slack but thought would give it a try...shrank as tight as a guitar string after one outing ..had to cut it off and start over...did work well on the floor before first outing.I got a few good pop rivets and a couple of good plastic pieces for $25.beyond that the DIY guys have the right plan....save the value of frustrations and see you local independent hardware retailer...you will feel much better !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yak gear anchor trolley kit Installed on a Wilderness Pungo 120 using You Tube directions. The written directions were confusing. Using You Tube, installation was a piece of cake. I've only used the set up twice. Each trip it worked great. The second trip was windy with 10-13 mph. winds. Anchored with the wind at my back so I was able to cast left, right and front. Glad I had the set up, otherwise the trip would have been a bust. Fishing would have been impossible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Product I bought one for my first kayak and it was easy to install especially after seeing it on YouTube. I have used it a lot in shallow lakes and in Lake Michigan. It holds well and is completely adjustable allowing me to anchor and fish at any angle to the wind or sun. I now have a newer kayak and will mount 2 of this same product, one on each side. I also use it with a drift sock. Works perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product This anchor trolley is exactly what I was looking for. Easy installation and has held up well. I am an avid fisherman. I go out at least once if not twice a week in my kayak for a few hours. Have not had any problems to speak of yet. Thanks Yak-Gear for making a good reliable product at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must-have Puts your anchor where you want it so you're not fighting the wind or current. Keeps your anchor line within reach for a quick-disconnect if you encounter broadside waves, large boat wakes, or the fish of your dreams reeling you in. Easy to install with just a drill and screwdriver.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works good worked great on my kayak. Had no trouble with the line shrinking after getting wet. very easy to adjust the trolley. Better instructions would make installation easier, and took 2 times to get the anchor attached correctly.
