Easy To Use

Since I didn't have a place under the bumper to hook my kayak tie down straps, I found these loops for under my hood to work well. It was suggested that you use the bolts in your car frame, but I bought additional bolts and used one of the extra holes in the frame under the hood to mount the loops.

This Is Exactly What You're Looking For

I just bought a new vehicle and needed a front tie-down solution for my kayaks. If you're looking at this item, you're probably in a similar situation. These are simply awesome. They took less than 5 minutes to install on the fender bolts under the hood, and hide easily when not in use. This one's a no brainer, I wish I'd had them on my last car.

Works Great, Simple And Functional!

They are simple and functional. I easily installed it on my 2014 Audi Q5. The underhood bolts are all Torx style boltes. I have a Torx socket set and easily removed the closets bolt to the front hood and installed the Yak Hoop. Check your car first and determine the socket needed for removing and re-screwing your bolts. If you don't want to purchase a socket set then take the Yak Hoop to your mechanic and give him a few buckets for the installation. It's literally a 10 minute exercise. When not in use I simple fold the loops under the hood, leaving them in place for the next Kayak trip.Thank you Dick'sJoe
