The issue I have with this net, once you open it up and lock it in place in the plastic tab, you cannot manual unlock it, without using a flathead screwdriver to push the plastic tab apart, so it can fold back. If you don't mind it staying open throughout your fishing time, then it's a nonissue. My issue is that I will be using it on kayak and my space is limited, so it's important to have it fold back in place with ease. I should have waited on this purchase, YakAttack just came out with a newer and improved version, which now has a lever to allow it to fold back up with ease.

Perfect Bass Net
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this net to use while fishing from my kayak. I like that the handle folds in half making it more compact, however the hinge when latched comes undone a little easier then i would like. It doesn’t effect landing fish but it is annoying when you set the net down it wants to close. Also the net does not float so I had to add pipe insulation around the handle. Over all it’s a great net, those are my only 2 complaints.
