[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love kayaking and recently changed into a smaller vehicle where they will no longer fit inside. This mounted rooftop rack definitely required some extra assistance in order to get it together safely and for me to feel comfortable driving with it. Once we got it on it held the kayak really well and with some help was easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Yakima JayLow rooftop mounted kayak rack from Yakima and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. When we got these my boyfriend and I were eager to get them attached to the crossbars so we could see their full potential. Once attached, they are very secure and don’t budge. There is plenty of padding so that my kayak will not get damaged when transporting. It’s also convenient that it had the option to hold one or two kayaks with extra straps. Overall, installation was fairly easy and these seem like a great quality product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Yakima JayLow Rooftop Mounted Kayak Rack for free from Influenster in exchange for my opinion. Straight out of the box, it was fully assembled, which was a huge time-saver. The tool-free installation was incredibly straightforward, making it a breeze to set up on my Yakima StreamLine bars. Loading and securing the kayak is incredibly simple. When not in use, the carrier conveniently folds flat, maintaining a sleek profile and minimizing wind resistance. The heavy-duty straps and included bow and stern tie-downs provide a secure hold, ensuring my kayak stays in place during transit. This carrier supports one boat up to 80 lbs or two boats with a combined weight of 110 lbs or less, making it perfect for solo or tandem kayaking adventures. Overall, this kayak carrier is a fantastic investment for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and versatile solution for transporting their kayaks. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great kayak racks because they can stay on the car, yet fold down so you can pull in a garage. This is the second set I’ve purchased. I highly recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third brand of this type rack I’ve tried and it is definitely the best of them all - good padding. Easier install and easier adjustments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd set of kayak carriers I purchased for use on the Yakima trailer to carry four kayaks for our family. They hold the kayaks securely and we are very happy with our purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been happy with this rack so far - this is actually the second JayLow we've purchased. Not because the first wore out, but because we wanted a second set. They're easy to put on the factory crossbars of our 2018 Outback, and easy to fold down. Despite the fold down, we tend not to keep them on the vehicle because the lock cores are a separate purchase. All in all, we're quite pleased and have had no problems with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble, very sturdy. We have two kayaks and have traveled back roads and highways without shifting issues. This review is new, hopefully they will endure the test of time and weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super quick and easy to install. Works perfect with no issues. A must recomend for anyone who has round bars and not that standard roof rack bars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put on two in under 20 minutes and a lot of that time was measuring to make sure they are all equidistant. Have transported my boats yet but so far I like the engineering. I was able to use the standard roof rack on my Land Cruiser not added cross bars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did a bunch of research and found the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier was a solid product from other reviews and at a great price compared to other carriers. Had super easy assembly and fit perfectly on my 2019 Subaru Forrester as indicated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are cheaper options online for other J-shaped kayak carries, but I doubt they hold up o Yakima's quality. These were extremely easy to install (onto a set of Yakima crossbars) and once installed were very secure. Loading a kayak (can hold two) was easy and the included tiedown straps made it so the kayak was going nowhere. It's very likely that we will buy a second set of JawLows when we expand to two more kayaks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this rack so much than when I broke a set (by driving into my garage with them accidentally up) I immediately bought another set. They are really easy to install, easy to load, and I like that they fold down so you can keep them on and drive into an out of a garage without taking them off the car (just make sure to not be like me and forget to fold them down!)
