Great Overall, But -1 Star For Odor Retention

Overall, I'm impressed with the build quality and heat retention of this mug. Coffee does seem to taste noticeably better out of this ceramic-lined mug compared to stainless steel. My only complaint is that the ceramic-lining REALLY holds onto odors. After my first day drinking black coffee out of this mug, I scrubbed it out with dish soap and hot water and left it upside down to dry. The next day, I went to use it and it absolutely reeked of stale coffee. I tried cleaning it out with another round of dish soap, then baking soda and vinegar, but the smell still lingered. I finally tried letting it soak with a denture cleaning tablet and that helped, but even still it retains a faint stale coffee odor. I may try Cafiza and/or Bar Keepers Friend Coffee Maker Cleaner on it next (assuming those are safe to use on the ceramic lining). Overall, I'm pleased with this mug, but I'm also little disappointed by how stubbornly it retains odors.
