Great Coffee!

We recently purchased this for camping but I have been using it in the house at well. Coffee seems to taste so much better when being made in this. It also makes it fun! It holds the heat forever. My only wish is that they would've included a standard pitcher lid since this can be used as a pitcher, and you don't have to buy that separate. But for it's intended purpose, it works great and I have no complaints! I also recommend getting the 64oz. It there are 2 or more people drinking from it, the smaller size would be empty in no time.

Poor Quality And Difficult To Use

Lid is very difficult to lift up/out even when no coffee left and unlocked. Pour spout spills coffee when pouring even when locked. Ceramic inside chips easily.

Great quality that keeps coffee hot all morning. Plunger fits perfectly for groundless coffee. Love the large size to make 8-10 cups

Hard To Remove Grounds

Big fan of Yeti in general, but this product is difficult to clean without dumping grounds down the sink drain. Most presses drain well leaving grounds in a more solid state for easy removal. It’s almost impossible to drain the liquid out of this unit so there’s always a mess when you dump the used grounds out.

Great Idea Overall - Sadly A Very Poor Lid Design.

Very excited to purchase this item for our camping trips and it worked so well it soon replaced our home brew process as well. Sadly we are extremely disappointed after spending such a significant amount of money that the lid continues to leak as it did since day one. No amount of tightening, pressing down on the lid or manipulating the item itself has solved this very disappointing fact. How did this make it out for purchase on the open market with such a poor design around the lid seal? You can see where the coffee is leaking from. The lid where the gasket sits is not completely round as it has a small deviation on both sides of the pour spout and therefore the gasket doesn't seal completely. (See photo where the knife edge is pointing) It leaks every single pour. So when you make coffee, you need paper towel to clean the mess. The coffee making process is awesome but unfortunately the leaks drops a 5 star review to a 1 star. Hopefully they fix the issue for the next generation of French Press machines.

Well Made - Lose The Plastic Plunger

This is very nice. Might be too heavy for some. My goal was to remove plastic from my daily routine. But, this has a plastic plunger. Yeti needs to get a non-plastic plunger please.

A Leaky Mess

Yeti makes a lot of great products but this isn't one of them. I purchased the 64 oz french press and it leaks every single time I pour a cup of coffee. That isn't a hyperbolic statement. Coffee must be poured over the kitchen sink every single time or else the counter tops require cleaning. The O ring around the lid doesn't properly seal and there is nothing that can be done to rectify the situation. For how much this french press costs, I expected a product that could be used without hassle but this isn't it. At that price point I'm not only disappointed but feel ripped off. This french press shouldn't have made it out of the R&D phase let alone be offered to consumers.

Leaks When You Pour

For how expensive it is I am really disappointed that the spout leaks (pours under the rubber seal. Clearly not well designed. It does make the volume of coffee I wanted and keeps it warm for a long time so that is nice. I just wish you could actually get an overall quality product for this price point.

Yeti French Press Review

Overall I like the product very much. There are some things a buyer should know. Approximately 5-6 oz of beverage remained in the unit and are not accessible also the plunger requires some strength to remove when you clean it. It does keep the Beverage very hot for a long time I would buy it again and definitely recommend it.

Great Coffee But Leaky

Makes great coffee and keeps it hot a long time! Be careful with the lid... it leaks around the rubber seal when you pour out the coffee and gets all over the counter.

Works For Me!

Yes, it’s large and in charge. It keeps the coffee hot/warm before we drink it all. Would recommend some sort of spout cover in future iterations.

Best Coffee Maker We’ve Owned, Despite The Chip

It’s the best coffee we’ve had in years. The Yeti is easy to clean, and the sequestration of the grounds is quite effective, and the coffee stays hot a long time. In terms of functionality this is 5-star. I’m dinging it one star, though, because the bottom chipped almost immediately. This is despite the fact that we cherished this thing beyond reason and are exceptionally meticulous and careful in washing it and putting it away, so the chip really should not have happened. If not for that, this french press is truly top tier.
