This bag is exactly as described. Although not fully waterproof, I'd bet you could go through a thunderstorm and wouldn't get any water in it...it's rock solid. I would like a few more internal pockets/dividers, but otherwise great product, as always from Yeti.

4-star and not 5-star since I'm not a huge fan of how this backpack loads from the back and how it does not include a dedicated laptop sleeve. Since I am fully aware that I utilize it as my commuter and not as my adventure pack I'd add a half star if I could. The material is robust and I'm sure it will give me years of service. Wish they had it in more colors though. I love the fact that it has a separate compartment that fits my 46oz bottle. I added a 3L case to the front and it fits all of my needs. Can't wait to take it on an actual adventure soon!

The Cayo 25L is Elite. Great bag that is perfect for any and all excursions. I most recently brought it on a weeklong hiking and mountain biking trip in Europe. I got caught in a heavy rainstorm and the only thing that was dry were the items in my bag. My only suggestion is for the V2 to include an air-vent padding on the to help decrease sweat/moisture buildup.

Perfect Pack For Amphibious Operations!

The perfect amphibious backpack. Got one for my son and one for myself. Used it for a week of hard charging up in Desolation Sound, British Columbia, boating, fishing, hiking, in and out of the water, ocean, beach landings, lakes and creeks. The perfect size and absolutely bombproof, nearly 100% waterproof as well (my only caveat - I wish there was a way to seal up the hydration tube hole at the top, but duct tape would do in a pinch). Excellent all round adventure/travel pack as well! Fits and Carries very well, too, slightly lighter than Yeti’s excellent 28 ltr. Panga pack.
