You Drain Plugged Does Not Fit My Yeti

I bought this to screw in the back of my yeti to drain the water out of it without having moving it out of my cab in my truck. It does not fit. The one I have, the only one you have available to purchase with the drain plug does not fit in my yeti.

Cool idea for draining a Tundra Cooler that is hard to move and you dont want to get everything wet around it. Attach a hose and drain outside or overboard without making a mess or getting everything wet.

Washer Seals Dry Rotted.

The seals on it didn’t stop water. Had to put seal from original drain on the cooler side and add new hose seal to drain side. Disappointed because I bought same thing a few years earlier for another cooler and it works great.

Design the plug so the tightening ring is proud not covered by the cooler body around it. Really dumb! I added the washer from the old plug to make it work. Fix it and sell it standard with the cooler.

Good Idea, But Needs To Be Modfied.

This item needs a valve to function as intended. As is you cannot conenct a hose to a full cooler without it draining. A valve from the dardware store can be added, but it sticks out pretty far. An integrated vavle makes the most sense.
