Not Good For Boats/trailering

Purchased 2 in the last 4 months, both cushions flew off while trailing boat, not lid, the cushion. I would not recommend for boating or open air travel in a vehicle. I recovered 1 lid and it seems only thing securing it is a 3” dia hexagon adhesive strip, while in travel the ai must be in conflict with cushion and gradually weaken the bond. Yeti makes great products so I thought the first was fluke but I won’t be buying for the 3rd time.

The only downside is when you use the insert, if you are using the bucket to hold ice and drinks, you can’t fit a lot under it. I know you aren’t supposed to use the bucket as a cooler, but I do for short events like a quick tailgate or youth sporting event.
