Yes the answer to your single question , it IS worth it, it is an actual airtight fortress, cannot be penetrated, zipper requires an umph to even get open providing antitheft, it fits and feels great, it is a buoy to be sure, it looks better and also bigger in person and is the perfect grab and go bag. They are amazing bags and virtually indestructible. I have one request from Yeti. All of the competitors have dropped the ball and have not provided some type of water bottle attachment for their waterproof backpacks. I’ve never understood how a backpack can’t have a water bottle holder. PLEASE YETI, be the amazing innovators that you are and come up with some type of attachment to carry our Ramblers! Rated 5 out of 5 by Domino MF from Air right This is a great piece of gear. I’m really impressed. I would recommend having two more quick grabs at top of bag to help close zipper. Zipper is amazing but no grab points as you zip it around the bag. No big deal it still zips easily. We will have thousands of dollars if gear including cell phones, drones, cameras, extra cloths and water/snacks. Trekking in the jungle and beaches ended something just like this bag. It’s totally air right to keep gear clean and dry. It also can be used as flotation if needed when swimming or going to boat and back. Just great gear and definitely 5 stars. Also with GoPro Adapter I can easily use it in shoulder strap. Perfect.

It lacks a few key features to make it easier to use. 1. A waterbottle holder should come with this bag. Yes you can caribener one to the side but then it flops around when you walk making it annoying. It needs water bottle slots big enough to hold a 26oz Rambler Bottle. 2. Organization. There's very few slots or pockets internally to organize your gear. They need to add some design work in this area. Overall it's a quality peice of kit and would use it easily for a day trip somewhere. It's just not as functional as I would have hoped. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by Benzo from Gear Heads I bought this for 3 trips this summer. Panama, Cancun and floating were our major concerns as we carry lots of gear that needs to be well protected. Our travels range from ocean, beach, airports, rain forests and many places that could damage our gear. Taking drones, GoPro, cameras, phones is always difficult. This trip was a breeze as we just packed it all up in my new Panga28 with no worries. This backpack is truly air/water tight. Keeping the zipper lubricated is a good thing to remember as it helps with the fast action opening and closing positions. I am a big Yeti fan and just bought the daytrip and hopper backflip. Did I mention that these are tough as nails and I put it through the test.

You Just Don’t Know It Yet I bought the Panga 28 to keep emergency gear and other essentials dry when out on the water, but I’ve been using this bag for just about everything. From offshore fishing, overnighters for work or a day trip to the zoo with the family, this bag is awesome. I’m as likely to be carrying snacks, towels and a change of clothes for the kids as I am an EPIRB, flares and handheld VHF radio in this bag. Tough, waterproof, spacious, comfortable and easy to clean.

I hesitated at checkout seeing what a large sum of money I was spending for a pack. I was smart and decided to order one, man am I glad I did. The zipper is the same as the one on my hopper (amazing) which gave me the confidence of it being a true dry pack, not to mention it had the Yeti name, which is synonymous with quality. I am thinking about buying the brick, up again the price. I did get more than my moneys worth with the Panga 28, so maybe it is time to pull the trigger on that Yet item as well. The Panga features the high quality materials and craftsmanship we know as standard to Yeti products. I would have liked to seen additional compartments for storage on the inside and perhaps a Sidekick with matching color of the Panga. Otherwise, I am very pleased with my purchase and definitely worth the price of the investment. This is a bag I will for sure be using the rest of my life! It’s the perfect size for paddle boarding, kayaking, or a day trip on the boat. The bag actually works so well, I used it as temporary life preserver just to see if it would work.
