Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stays cold, stays tough, stays ready Got the 64 oz 3-finger capped jug and couldn’t be happier. Just to prove a point to my dad, I filled it with water, dropped a couple ice cubes in, and left it out in direct sunlight throughout our entire mid-summer bbq, only moving it to drink some or keep it in direct sunlight. When the sun went down, I gave my dad a drink and the look of astonishment was worth every penny. Also just took it on a west coast bike trip of ~15 total miles in my backpack and it was most welcome to have cold water for the whole ride and not have to force down room temp or hot water. It’s just a water jug, but it does it’s job better than any I’ve come across.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Idea ... not so great in application I wanted to love this half gallon jug. Unfortunately, it just has some major flaws that are hard to get past when you actually use it. The seal gets to be so tight it can be a real pain to open and refill/clean/empty. The gaskets are the worst part. Once i finally open my jug the gaskets never seem to stay in place. This is true for the magnetic cap and the whole lid. The larger gasket continues to lose it's shape and not seat properly that I am fidgeting with it so it properly closes and doesn't spill. To recap: it's a pain to open & and a pain to close. If the stars align you may be able to actually get some usage out of this jug. Maybe next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great insulated bottle! Bought this to replace my plastic water bottle for Jiu-Jitsu training. The old plastic bottle is already warm by the middle of training. This one is awesome! I have the tumblers and the lowball so I was already familiar with Yeti quality. The only improvement which I really hope they make, is to make an accessory for the top. Like a sports bottle type of top that you can switch to when needed. It would just make quick drinks faster and easier. I also picked up the straw top for my tumblers which are awesome too! Please think about making a sports type quick open top and this thing would exceed the 5 star ranking it has now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very durable I had gotten this about 3 months ago and it has held up incredibly well! I work on a farm and it goes everywhere with me and has kept pace right with me. It keeps my water cold and my beer colder :) The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because on warmer more humid days the stainless steel around the mouth and the bottom (I got the red duracoat) likes to sweat which then drips down the side and makes the whole bottle slippery and good at holding on to dust and dirt. Otherwise a very good bottle. I would recommend because of the durability and the versatility of the bottle. I also love the ability to switch out the lids for what I'm doing. I will defiantly recommend and replace when it's time for a new one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Held up great in the Mojave Desert I purchased the Rambler over the summer for the intent of taking it with me for Military training in the Mojave Desert. The Rambler held up to constant beatings and brutal temperatures. All the while, my water was always cold even when the ice melted after two days. Upon my return from training. I had went Surf Fishing on the Delaware coast; Again bringing the Rambler with me. The Rambler again gave me an Ice cold drink while exposed to the elements on the beach. Great product!! YETI has earned my business for years to come. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect For Outdoor Work I bought two of these for working outside at home. It’s HOT in Florida in the Summer! I found that they will keep ice water cold for hours in the sun. I pre-chill before filling, add about 1/4 - 1/3 full of ice and top up with cold water. Much better than my prior solution, which was bottled water in a small cooler with ice. In fact, if any water and ice is left in the Yeti jug, there will still be some ice left the next day. Impressive performance! I’m also a fan of the magnetic lid holder. No dropping it in the grass or dirt any more. Perfectly implemented. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bottle But Don't Drop It...It Will Dent I purchased the 36oz rambler botter with the chug cap about 6 weeks ago. The chug cap is a must have for easy drinking! My only complaint is Yeti advertises the bottle as it being able to resist dents. Careful with the wording. It may "resist dents" but is definitely "not dent proof" as stated by the Yeti rep on the phone. I dropped this bottle once and got a dent at the bottom edge of the bottle. This IS NOT covered under warranty. The bottle now wobbles when on flat surfaces but other than that no other big complaints. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's big, and sealed 12 hours in and it looks like no ice has melted. Unlike other cups or bottles there's no need to fill it 3/4 of the way with ice. This will do just fine with ice filled only 1/4 of the way. The closed system is what really shines, there's no sipping port on the lid to let heat in. The "three finger grip" is a bit tight. Can't get past my second knuckle with three fingers. But I got big fingers. There's also a bunch of stuff in the can. Take it out before the first rinse. Sticker glue is also a bit of a pain to remove, because the best way to remove it is hot water, but the yeti retains heat well so it becomes difficult to hold. I've never put hot drinks in my yetis, so I can't speak to that.
