It’s A Drain Plug.
We bought as a replacement ~ lost ours somehow on a trip. They REALLY should attach to the coolers or have a place to slot them elsewhere while you’re draining and cleaning coolers out - given the price we all pay for Yeti products and their claim of being over engineered ;)

Good Replacement For The Incorrect Plug
