Horrible

This bottle sucks. It can’t even hold ice for more than 30 minutes. It just becomes warm. It literally doesn’t hold coldness at all like this is quite literally the worst water bottle I’ve ever had and I have owned so many and so many different brands and at this point, I think it’s just your company, YETI. I’ve even tried pre-cooling the water bottle and that doesn’t help. I will also put in 20 ice cubes and it literally becomes warm in an hour. Not impressed. And not to mention you said this is 40oz on the website, but the “” insulation “” you have takes up most of the water quantity space which would be fine if the insulation actually worked, but it doesn't, it just takes up space so this water bottle does not hold 40oz. Worst money spent, do not buy YETI, disappointment after disapointment.

It’s like any other jug, but 5x the price. Claims it’s as insulating as the pricey coolers are false.

Don't Waste Your Money

The absolute worst yeti product I've ever owned. Purchased for sons extended baseball practices and ice melts completely during a 3 hour practice. Water becomes room temperature even when jug is placed in the shade. Highly disappointed.

Was perfect for the 6 year old this summer for baseball camp. Held ice all day.

Highly disappointed in the retention of ice and cold beverages. Does not perform as expected of an expensive yeti jug… I do not recommend spending the money on this one!

Awful Product

This is an awful product. My husband bought one for work and the ice was all melted a few hours into his workday. He now needs to replace a brand new jug for one that actually keeps water cold for 8 hours.

bought this as a gift for my son for his first Baseball Tryout. he loved it, and hopefully it gave him a bit of confidence for his tryout

40 Ounce Jug

I have many Yeti products so I was not happy to give this jug a bad review. I was hoping to replace one from another company. The jug just doesn’t keep the water cold long enough. I don’t know maybe this one is defective or what because I’ve never had an issue with any other product.

The Silo jug is great, it keeps the contents cold, it just doesn’t keep the ice longer than a day.

I brought my grandson to Dick’s for his birthday he picked out a pair of basketball sneakers and the yeti cooler. He was happy with both items and said the cooler works well for all his sports and camps.

Another Great Product By Yeti

I'm happy with my purchase of the Yeti Jug. Some reviews says it doesn't keep their drinks cold, but I don't have an issue with that. I have two-inch ice sphere ball trays that make larger ice that I use in the jug which make a difference then regular ice cubes (that melt so much quicker) and keeps my drink cold for my entire 8 hour shift at work.

Great Leak Proof Bottle.

I bought the smaller bottle for my younger child to use as a sports bottle because he kept denting the steel vacuum bottles. This bottle is more durable and lighter. However, it doesn’t keep the ice as long as the stainless steel bottles. Since the kid’s games and practice for only 2 hours, the water stays cold long enough. I’d wish Yeti would put a slot for AirTag or another tracking device when they leave it behind.

Fell Of Counter And Broke

Got knocked off the counter and when it hit the ground the handle popped off and cracked in half. Have been unable to reattach the handle. Now it's just a big ol water jug with no handle.
