Unreliable Support

I went on one hike and one they quick release fasteners do not stand up to significant pressure. The poles retracted when I put when I needed them to support when descending down the trail. Could be dangerous if you put any significant weight on them.

Broke In Half First Time Used

Purchased at Dicks sporting goods on Friday, hiked ADKs on Tuesday. Pole buckled on the lower section. Had set at the “stop”, which was nice to have. Really liked the quick release. Only used on the hike down, snow baskets worked well for checking for ankle breakers. About 3/4 way down, planted to brace myself, it completely bent, and I went down. Just gave way. Took a chance because had a gift certificate, don’t recommend for hiking.
