Only Somewhat Weedless

Let me start my saying that the Z-Man Finesse ShroomZ Jig Head (non-weedless) are the only hooks I'll use for Ned Rigs, so I decided to give these weedless ones a try. Overall, the quality of these hooks are great. The hooks are sharp and I've successfully caught both largemouth and smallmouth on them. However, the effectiveness of being weedless is a different matter. The weed guard doesn't quite work all the time. I do seem to pull in a little less weeds. However, the weeds and slime now catch on the weed guard and the eyelet rather than the hook. I'll just stick with the regular Z-Man Finesse ShroomZ Jig Head.

Bought for my son. Loves them. Caught his biggest bass with them. Highly recommended.

Great For Avoid Snags

Fishing rocky or grassy spots, these help avoid snags. Definitely helpful when the conditions require.

Weed Guard

The weed guards on this mushroom jighead work excellent in the brush near the bank. Pairing up nicely with my Ned worms.
