Good Working & Looking Combo

This combo is nice in the hand. Upon purchase, I replaced the factory line with 10lb Stren mono. If you do this don’t overload the spool with line. This thing casts like a dream and handles a variety of lures well. To anyone reading this when you store a spincast remembered to loosen the drag all the way it helps with the longevity of the drag washers.

Love This Combo

Got the 33 Black for basic fishing, Crappie, Bass, Blue gill catfish etc. The casting is nice and smooth as is the retrieval, it has 4 bearings and you can feel and hear the difference between this and the standard 33. The rod is nice and light, love the grips on it. once minor gripe, I would love to have seen one more eyelet guide. but Overall very happy been fishing for over 40 years and I still love going to the Zeb's 33 reels They just get out of your way , and do what they are intended to do, so you can just enjoy fishing. Love them.

I bought this 2 months ago and have had zero issues, it's pulled in the bass very quickly when hooked. I haven't had any issues with the stock line like some of the reviews reported.

Guys, it is a spincast. Some people seem to want this to perform like much more expensive rods that are in separate classes from this. I bought this for ease of use as a Dad with young kids. It has been great so far - looking forward to many memories with this.

This 33 Has My Son Hooked

My family has fished Zebco equipment for many generations. My son was admiring my 33 rod and reel combo...so I bought him a 33 combo in all black. Now he has a very versital combo of his own to enjoy for a lifetime.

Great Upgrade The 33 Series

I bought 2 of these online just to try them out... I admit I was skeptical of buying another Zebco 33... I already have owned many of them over the years... Almost all them the thumb button breaks... This new version of the loyal 33 works to perfection, every cast even into the wind seems to go out a mile and a half... I’m very impressed with this reel... May end up getting a few more of them.
