Doesn’t fit your old rods. Too shallow bottom of carriage I bought it to hinin an old rod but it doesn’t fit because the old screw in holder rubs the reel carriage button. 1 more millimeter and it would be golden. Some cost cutting move cutting out old gear. Sony did same with camera gear. Forces more purchases. I taped it in with duct tape and rolled. The Corp game is tricky!

Latest Gold Standard In Fishing
I've owned a variety of Zebco rods and reels over the last 25 years. This is my first Gold model 33. The castability is what I expect from a 33 reel but the added bearings are what sets the Gold model apart. I work a lot of topwater lures and the smoothness of the bearings helps to reach that perfect topwater action.
