Easy To Use

Just getting back into fishing after 30 years. Picked up a couple of these for my son and I just to get a feel for it. It’s been great so far. We’ve been out every weekend and it’s worked great after figuring out lures and hooks. Would definitely recommend for beginners or as a refresher.

Bought one for my son for his birthday. Reel fell apart the first time he picked it up. Figured it was a defect so took back to store to exchange for new one. Got out to fish with my son for the first time and second cast reel fell apart again. Absolute junk

Cheaply Built Reel

I purchased 2 of these rod and reel combos. One for myself and one for my 15 year old son. I have purchased Zebco for many years, but these reels are Horrible!! Both of the reels locked up after approximately 25 casts. The release buttons failed. I don't think that Zebco has a quality reel anymore, which is unfortunate because I have purchased them for 20 plus years. I guess I have to find a new brand of reel.

Purchased these for both my Grandsons, I remember when i was a kid and my dad got me a Zebco, i fished many years with it, So Have taken the grandsons out three time already and they had a Blast fishing, great fishing rod and reel combo,,, hope many years of fishing for them,,,,,

Not Great...

I bought 2 of these last weekend for my boys, The drag adjustment is a joke, the Anti Reverse is a joke, the entire pole is a joke, on me... First cast went well until the entire spool got back wound. The release button drops it about 6" before casting, for a kid this is a total pump fake. Returning to Dicks in Danvers for a full refund. I plan to head over to a local rod and reel shop. Exactly what I should have done in the first place.
