Rated 5 out of 5 by wuzzzer from Best reel I've ever used! I have been a Zebco fan all my life. Previously bought reels in the $20 to $30 range and would replace them every few years or so. A few years ago I bought an Omega Pro and really liked it a lot. When I first heard about the Bullet I was super pumped. When I bought one I couldn't believe the feel and build quality of it. I love the weight and every component of it is built incredibly well. It casts super far and the bearing system gives it the smoothest retrieval I've ever felt. I use it as my 'heavy duty' casting rig for bass, northern pike and any larger fish. I've brought in several large northerns and bass and the reel has never felt like it was struggling at all. This is definitely THE go-to reel for anyone who loves to fish!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bill from Good Choice - Still think it is a bit too expensive I use this reel on my top water (mostly frogs) rod. I spooled it with 17 lbs "Vicious" low stretch monofilament line. It casts very well and I had no issues with accuracy, a problem some users attribute to the heaviness of the reel. I don't think you really get 29 inches of retrieval per crank but it is faster than any other closed face reel I have used. More than likely they were using a test case where the spool was completely full and the were cranking the last five of six feet of line in on that full spool. The crank handle is very comfortable and I like the longer length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KENO from Finally! A reel to hook kids Finally there is a spin cast reel truly built for Bass Fishing. The Zebco Bullet is the first spin cast (push button) reel on the market sturdy enough and fast enough to fish Bass lures. Trying to give youngsters the thrill of casting a spinner bait or shallow diving plug on a bait casting or spinning reel usually results in backlashes and frustration and thus interest is gone before they really get a chance to feel the excitement of landing a big Bass. This new push button Bullet is easy to cast and retrieves fast enough to effectively work bass lures that require speed and thus is perfect for getting that youngster hooked on Bass fishing the first time out. Not only that, but when you do hook that hawg, this reel won't quit on you Congratulations Zebco.

I just got the new BULLET and its by far the best one yet smooth and fast I love it I'm fixing to purchase 2 more and retire 2 others I have... Thanks for such great products

I have used a Zebco 33 for years but the bullet is my favorite reel i have ever owned better than any baitcaster i have used. The casting distance is outstanding. I plan on buying a additional one. Rated 5 out of 5 by Zeb and gramps from Our new zebco bullet reel Just got the zebco bullet and my grandson caught his first bass on it. All he could say it was so smooth and reeled it in so quick. We have several zebco platinum 33 with the five ball bearings and have caught several large mouth bass on them without any problems"we also use the 808 and 888 for catfishing without any problems but dollar for dollar the five bearing platinum 33 r hard to. Beat. Now since my grandson has the bulletin I will be checking his out a little closer and will probably get one for myself. Thanks zebco for making another great reel for the novice and the old guys that likes to fish large bass without the headache of loss time fishing. I would like to recommend a 6.6 one piece rod medium action with a special handle that would be sold separately and had a great warranty with it at also a reasonable price. Wow wouldn't that be a great combo. Thanks again zebco also for your great parts service dept. as they heave been a lot of help for us also

I've been fishing Omega reels exclusively for the last 10 years or so and THIS is the perfect spin-cast reel! Brought in 4 bass & a nice crappie on our first trip together. Smooth & as quick as I want it to be, with great control. What's next? A Z02 size version?
