The design is easy to use and there is no frustrating tangles. My boys and I were immediately catching blue gills.

It's good for a brand new beginner, but have an adult who knows what they're doing around to fix relatively frequently tangles and lost lures.

This is a great fishing Rod for kids. Easy for kids to use and cast. Strong enough to pull in big fish without snapping the rod.
