My issues are small- I keep keys on a carabiner and these have no belt loops or auxiliary hooks to clip to. So my keys have to plummet to the depths of a pocket. There are many pockets, but they all seem bottomless. My wallet in the back pocket falls below my butt, and if keys go into a handy front zippered pocket they fall to the back of my thigh. Good shorts if you’re aren’t carrying anything.

But they aren’t ‘loose’. They got just enough give and are tailored to accommodate those of us that don’t skip leg day. Also, the material and construction are robust so these aren’t going to fall apart after two rides. And you get the pockets, etc, etc that you need. Basically, these are great mountain biking shorts.
