What is MLB Players Weekend?

The first-ever Players Weekend takes place August 25 – 27. During games played on those dates, all Major League teams will wear specially designed uniforms inspired by Little League Baseball®. The uniforms include a jersey featuring the player’s nickname of choice on the back, as well as a limited-edition hat and socks. Players will also be allowed to wear non-traditional spikes, batting gloves, arm bands and more.

What is the MLB Little League Classic?

The Pirates and Cardinals met in the inaugural MLB Little League Classic game on Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, during the Little League World Series. The game was played at BB&T Park at historic Bowman Field. This was the first time MLB players wore the Little League-inspired uniforms.

What is the Evolution logo?

The MLB Evolution logo depicts the silhouette of five players at various stages of growth, symbolizing the progression from youth baseball all the way to the highest level—the majors. The Evolution logo is featured on all Players Weekend jerseys and caps.
