It starts on the tee with the new M3 and M4 drivers. Both drivers feature TaylorMade’s Twist Face technology—a new face curvature designed to reduce sidespin and produce straighter shots. How? More loft in the high-toe and less loft in the low-heel help to create more consistent spin in the exact locations where golfers tend to mis-hit.
M3 DRIVER: STRAIGHT DISTANCE + UNMATCHED PERSONALIZATION
The M3 driver also features TaylorMade’s fresh take on their trademark weight track system. Adjust the two 11-gram weights towards the back portion of the Y-Track for superior control over draw and fade options, or you can split the weights evenly for ultimate forgiveness. In total, the new Y-Track allows for almost 1,100 possible settings. When you factor in the 12-way adjustable hosel, the M3 Driver can be set up 13,000 different ways—two times the potential set-ups of the 2017 M1 driver.
Key Features: Twist Face Technology; Hammerhead Slot; connected Y-Track weight system with 22 total grams of movable weight
“From the creation of the first metalwood in 1979, TaylorMade has established a legacy of breaking from tradition to reach new thresholds of performance. In 2018, we have once again uncovered a new frontier of driving potential with Twist Face technology—a radical departure from traditional driver-face design, engineered to correct for inherent human swing tendencies in real time, giving golfers a tangible competitive advantage. Combining our new Y-Track and Hammerhead Slot, the new M3 driver offers our most technologically advanced driver ever.” – Brian Bazzel, Vice President of TaylorMade Product Creation
M4 DRIVER: STRAIGHT DISTANCE + ULTIMATE FORGIVENESS
The M4 driver is designed to maximize forgiveness. Weighing 15 grams lighter than the M3, the M4’s advanced sole shaping and 41-gram sole weight moves the Center of Gravity (CG) even lower and further back, creating unmatched speed and forgiveness with exceptional sound and feel.
Key Features: Twist Face Technology; Hammerhead Slot; larger-but-lighter face for added forgiveness
“From the Tour to the amateur golfer, distance with consistency is the ultimate performance goal. With M4 driver, we have combined our revolutionary Twist Face technology with a new Hammerhead slot and a refined Geocoustic sole design to produce straight distance with a massive sweet spot. The result is consistent driving performance through a premium blend of power, forgiveness, and accuracy.” - Brian Bazzel, Vice President of TaylorMade Product Creation
