DISGUISED DRIVER

With this wrapping technique, the golfer in your life may need a mulligan when trying to guess what’s inside. By placing a golf driver in a large cardboard cylinder, you can make wrapping easy while also concealing the club.

SUPPLIES

  • Large cardboard cylinder
  • Round foam toppers
  • Scissors
  • Craft paper (multiple colors)
  • Tissue paper
  • Ribbon
  • Twine
  • Double-sided tape
  • Tape

HOW TO

  1. Put the driver and tissue paper inside a large cardboard cylinder. These can often be found at home improvement stores.
  2. Close the ends of the cylinder with foam toppers.
  3. Place the cylinder on a sheet of craft paper. The paper should be about three times the width of the cylinder.
  4. Line the edge of the craft paper with double-sided tape.
  5. Roll the tube in the craft paper and tape down the open side.
  6. Cut the excess paper at the ends of the cylinder into strips about an inch or two wide. Fold the strips and tape them down.
  7. Using a different colored craft paper, ribbon and twine, add embellishments to taste.

PUT A BOW ON IT
