ScoreCard Terms & Conditions


1. Introduction



The ScoreCard program (“Program”) is a U.S.-based loyalty program offered at the sole discretion of Dick's Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, and Field & Stream, hereinafter referred to as "Our Store(s),” “Us,” “We” or “Our”.

At Our sole discretion, We have the right to modify, add or delete all or any portion of the Program rules, terms, conditions, benefits or ScoreCard rewards, at any time, with or without notice, even though such changes may affect the value of points already accumulated, the value of the rewards and/or the time for redemption.


2. Membership & Eligibility



You can sign up to be a Program participant (“Participant”) by enrolling at checkout in Our Store locations, online at https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/s/scorecard-benefits or at special sign up events. ScoreRewards® Credit Card and ScoreRewards® Mastercard® cardholders are automatically enrolled in the Program.

Participants must:
(a) Be at least thirteen (13) years of age;
(b) Be a resident of the United States (including United States territories) or Canada; and,
(c) Provide a valid mailing address and valid email address at the time of enrollment.

Additionally, by participating in the Program, a Participant acknowledges that he/she agrees to Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc.’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which can be viewed at https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/s/privacy-policy and https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/s/dsg-terms-of-use, respectively.


3.Earning Points



In order to earn points (“Points”) that can be applied towards a reward (“Reward”), a Participant must identify himself/herself as a ScoreCard member each time the Participant makes a purchase in Our Store locations or through Customer Service orders, or enter his/her ScoreCard number at the time of purchase online at Dicks.com, GolfGalaxy.com and FieldandStreamShop.com (“Our Websites.”)

Participants can earn Points in the following ways:

(a) Qualified Purchases. Participants will earn at least one Point for every $1 of Qualified Purchases (defined below) made at Our Store locations and using Our Websites. In the event of any discrepancies or if a Participant does not use his/her ScoreCard at the time of purchase, Participants may add purchases to his/her account within 90 days of the original transaction by logging into his/her account at https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/s/scorecard-benefits for in-store purchases or by contacting the ScoreCard Hotline at 1-800-440-4002 for purchases made using Our Websites. It may take up to seven weeks for Points from Qualified Purchases to appear on a Participant’s account.

Qualified Purchases” are merchandise purchases excluding sales tax and shipping, Reward redemption, purchases made prior to enrollment, purchases of PING, new releases from Titleist and Footjoy, select new releases by TaylorMade, gift cards, returned merchandise, refunds, online services, service items, warranties, gift certificates, gift wrap and purchases made through Dick's Team Sports HQ. If a Participant returns purchases for which the Participant earned Points, those Points will be deducted from the Participant’s ScoreCard account balance. Participants must present their ScoreCard when returning any purchases that earned Points.

(b) ScoreRewards® Credit Card or ScoreRewards® Mastercard®. Participants using a ScoreRewards® Credit Card or ScoreRewards® Mastercard® at the time of purchase may earn bonus Points subject to the Credit Card ScoreCard Terms issued by the credit card provider, which can be found at www.DICKS.com/ScoreCardTerms. Our Stores do not own or control the information relative to charges made on the ScoreRewards® Credit Card or ScoreRewards® Mastercard®. Our Stores do not, and cannot assume any responsibility for, and will not be liable for the accuracy of any such information regarding a Participant’s use of the ScoreRewards® Credit Card or ScoreRewards® Mastercard®. Participants should contact the ScoreCard Hotline at 1-800-440-4002 if a Participant believes there are discrepancies regarding the Points earned from using the ScoreRewards® Credit Card or ScoreRewards® Mastercard®.

(c) Fitness Tracker. Participants can earn Points through the MOVE fitness tracker function on the DICK'S Sporting Goods Mobile Application (“DSG Mobile App”). Please see the Mobile App FAQ, which is located at https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/s/mobile-app-faqs for details regarding how to earn Points using the DSG Mobile App. Points earned via the DSG Mobile App are subject to a daily maximum of 3 Points per ScoreCard account. Participants must reach the daily goal in one (1) calendar day based upon the Participant’s time zone in order to receive Points and a Participant’s activity will reset back to zero (0) the next calendar day. Our Stores do not own or control the information regarding Participants’ fitness activity reported to the DSG Mobile App. Our Stores do not, and cannot assume any responsibility for, and will not be liable for the accuracy of any such information regarding a Participant’s fitness activity. Participants must contact their third party fitness device manufacturer if they believe there are discrepancies regarding the fitness activity reported to the DSG Mobile App.

From time to time, We may extend ScoreCard enrollment offers to our customers to promote new Program membership for non-Participants. Such enrollment offers are limited to new ScoreCard Participants. Existing Participants may not receive enrollment offers for enrolling additional ScoreCard accounts. Accounts under the same name and address will automatically be combined.

Our Stores reserve the right to provide ScoreCard benefits to some Participants based upon geographic location, Program participation or information supplied by the Participant. Some of our special promotional offers, benefits, and communications also may be based on the volume or type of purchases of Participants.


4. ScoreCard Gold Program



As part of the Program, Participants may be qualified to become a member (“Gold Program Member”) of the ScoreCard Gold Program ("Gold Program") if the Participant holds the ScoreRewards® Credit Card or ScoreRewards® Mastercard® and has used it to make a purchase in Our Store locations or using Our Websites at least once during the previous 24 months.

Enrollment into the Gold Program may take up to ninety (90) days after qualifying. Once enrolled, Gold Program Members will be enrolled in the Gold Program for the remainder of that calendar year plus the following calendar year.

In addition to the benefits of the ScoreCard Program, Gold Program Members will also receive:

(i) Free select pro services (may vary by store location); and,

(ii) 3X Point days. Gold Program Members may receive up to four (4) 3X Point days per calendar year. Gold Program Members must make purchases using their ScoreRewards® Credit Card or ScoreRewards® Mastercard® on 3X Point days in order to receive 3X Points. Gold Program Members can elect to use a 3X Point day at any time when prompted at the point of sale, and will earn triple Points on a single transaction of in-store Qualified Purchases made on that day at Our Stores.


5. Earning Rewards



Participants will receive a Reward within sixty (60) days after reaching a balance of three hundred (300) Points ("Minimum Point Threshold"). The Minimum Point Threshold may change at any time without prior notification. Participants who opt-in to eRewards, will receive Rewards via email. All other Participants will receive Rewards by mail. Rewards are capped at Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) (“Maximum Reward”) per cycle. For more information on cycles, please see the ScoreCard FAQ located at https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/s/scorecard-faqs. Participants who have a Points balance after earning a Maximum Reward will carry over the remaining Points until the Points convert to a Reward or expire, whichever happens first.


6. Redeeming Rewards



Rewards can be redeemed only on the purchase of merchandise by presenting the Reward at the time of checkout in Our Store locations or by entering the redemption code at the time of purchase online using Our Websites. A Reward can only be redeemed in one transaction, and the Participant forfeits any unused portion of the Reward if the transaction is less than the amount of the Reward. Additionally, if a Participant uses a Reward to make a purchase that is later returned, the Participant will not be reimbursed any portion of the Reward.

Rewards cannot be redeemed for gift cards, gift certificates, store credit, sales tax, prior purchases, licenses or services including but not limited to shipping, gift wrap, extended warranties or purchases made through Dick's Team Sports HQ. Rewards have no cash value and neither cash nor store credit will be paid for unused portions of the Reward. Rewards are not transferable. Participants must redeem Rewards prior to or on the expiration date stated on the Reward. The Program reserves the right to change the Rewards expiration date at any time without prior notification.


7. Point Expiration



All Points that have not been converted to a Reward will expire one year after the date upon which the Points were earned.


8. Change of Account Information



Participants are responsible for notifying Us of any changes to their information, including mailing address and e-mail address. Our Stores are not responsible for Rewards that are lost, delayed or misdirected in the mail, by email or otherwise. Account information changes can be made by making changes to the Participant’s account preferences at https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/s/scorecard-benefits or by contacting the ScoreCard Hotline at 1-800-440-4002.


9. Program Termination



The Program has no predetermined termination date and may continue until such time as Our Stores, in Our sole discretion, elect to designate a termination date. Our Stores reserve the right to modify or end the Program, or any part of the Program, at any time without providing written notice to you.

Abuse of the Program (for example, by a Participant failing to follow the ScoreCard Terms and Conditions, allowing others to use the Participant’s membership number or other improper conduct as determined by Our Stores in Our sole discretion) may result in termination of that Participant’s membership and disqualify that Participant from future Program participation.


10. Additional Terms

Points and Rewards may be subject to federal, state, or other taxes and such taxes are the sole responsibility of the respective Participant.

The Program is a United States program. The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania apply to the Program and these ScoreCard Terms and Conditions without regard to any conflict of law rules that may require the application of the laws of another jurisdiction.

If in any particular state the Program or Our Stores have to apply for any special license, bonding, permit or other governmental regulatory approval, the Program will be void in that particular state.

Participation in the Program is void if prohibited by law in the jurisdiction in which the prospective Participant resides.

SCOREREWARDS CREDIT CARD AND SCOREREWARDS MASTERCARD® SCORECARD PROGRAM TERMS (Credit Card ScoreCard Terms)

ScoreRewards Credit Card (formerly Rewards of Sport Credit Card) and ScoreRewards Mastercard (formerly Rewards of Sport Mastercard) cardholders are automatically enrolled in the ScoreCard Program (the “ScoreCard Program”).

Qualified Purchases

As a ScoreCard Program member, you earn at least one ScoreCard point (“Point” or “Points”) for every dollar you spend at any DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy store locations, or online at www.DICKS.com, www.fieldandstreamshop.com, or www.golfgalaxy.com, excluding any discounts, sales tax, ScoreCard Reward redemption, purchases prior to joining the ScoreCard Program, purchases of PING products, new releases from Titleist and Footjoy, select new releases by Taylormade, purchases made through Dick’s Team Sports HQ, gift cards, refunds, returned merchandise, online services, service items, shipping, gift certificates, warranties and gift wrap (“Qualified Purchase”). Exclusions are subject to change by DICK’S Sporting Goods. Inc.

ScoreCard Points Earned

Use of the ScoreRewards Credit Card or the ScoreRewards Mastercard earns you 2x the amount of Points than you would otherwise earn under the ScoreCard Program on Qualified Purchases at any DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy store locations (excluding in-store kiosks and online purchases). You will earn a total of two (2) Points per $1 spent on Qualified Purchases when you use the ScoreRewards Credit Card or the ScoreRewards Mastercard. So, for each $150 in Qualified Purchases you make using the ScoreRewards Credit Card or the ScoreRewards Mastercard, you will earn a $10 reward (each a “ScoreCard Reward”). In order to earn Points, you must identify yourself as a ScoreCard member each time you shop or enter your ScoreCard number each time you make purchases online. If you return purchases on which you earned Points, you must present your ScoreCard and ScoreRewards Credit Card or ScoreRewards Mastercard and those Points will be deducted from your ScoreCard account.

ScoreCard Gold Programs

You may be qualified to become a member of the ScoreCard Gold Program (“Gold Program”) if you hold the ScoreRewards Credit Card or ScoreRewards Mastercard and have used it to make a purchase in Our Stores at least once during the previous 24 months (“Gold Program Member”). Enrollment into the Gold Program may take up to ninety (90) days after qualifying. Once enrolled, Gold Program Members will be enrolled in the Gold Program for the remainder of that calendar year plus the following calendar year. In addition to the benefits of the ScoreCard Program, Gold Program Members will receive free select pro services, which may vary by store location. Gold Program Members may receive up to four 3X point days per calendar year on which they will earn 3X points on a single transaction of in-store Qualified Purchases. Gold Program Members must make purchases using their ScoreRewards Credit Card or ScoreRewards Mastercard on 3X point days in order to receive 3X points. Gold Program Members can elect to use a 3X point day at any time when prompted at the point of sale, and will earn 3X points on a single transaction of in-store Qualified Purchases made on that day at Our Stores.

ScoreCard Credit Card

Your ScoreRewards Credit Card may be used only at DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream and Golf Galaxy store locations. You cannot make purchases using your ScoreRewards Credit Card at in-store kiosks or online. When you use your ScoreRewards Credit Card, you will earn two (2) Points for every dollar in Qualified Purchases you make with that credit card. However, you will only earn one (1) ScoreCard point for promotional financing purchases made with your ScoreRewards Credit Card. Each month the additional Points you earn through purchases with your ScoreRewards Credit Card are transferred to DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. to be added to your Points total (allow four to seven weeks from purchase date for points to appear on your points total). The extra Points you earn using your ScoreRewards Credit Card will be noted on your monthly account statement.

ScoreRewards Mastercard

Your ScoreRewards Mastercard may be used anywhere Mastercard cards are accepted. The amount of Points that you earn depends on where you use your ScoreRewards Mastercard. When you use your ScoreRewards Mastercard at DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy store locations you will earn two (2) Points for every dollar in Qualified Purchases you make with that ScoreRewards Mastercard. However, you will only earn one (1) ScoreCard point for promotional financing purchases made with your ScoreRewards Mastercard at DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy. Purchases made at DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy in-store kiosks or online sites will not be treated as a purchase made at that store’s location and will earn one (1) ScoreCard point for every $3.00 in net purchases (purchases minus refunds and returns) you make with your ScoreRewards Mastercard. When you use your ScoreRewards Mastercard outside of any DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy store locations, you will earn one (1) ScoreCard point for every $3.00 in net purchases (purchases minus refunds and returns) you make with that ScoreRewards Mastercard. So for each $900 in net purchases anywhere Mastercard is accepted outside of any DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy store locations, you will earn a $10 ScoreCard Reward. Also, balance transfers and cash advances do not qualify for Points unless otherwise indicated. Each month the additional Points you earn through purchases with your ScoreRewards Mastercard are transferred to DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. to be added to your Points total (allow four to seven weeks from purchase date for Points to appear on your Points total). The extra Points you earn using your ScoreRewards Mastercard will be noted on your monthly account statement.

Introductory Points on ScoreRewards Mastercard and ScoreRewards Credit Card

Introductory Points offers are available for new card Accounts and the offers may vary. For example, you may see an account opening offer for 3x Points on Qualified Purchases the day you open your Account. After the introductory offer expires, you will earn Points as described above in the ScoreRewards Credit Card or ScoreRewards Mastercard section, as applicable.

ScoreCard Rewards

When your ScoreCard account total reaches a minimum of 300 Points, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. will issue, within 60 days, a ScoreCard Reward of at least $10 that you can redeem at any DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy store locations or online at www.DICKS.com, www.fieldandstreamshop.com or www.golfgalaxy.com. There is no cap on the number of ScoreCard Rewards you can earn and no limitation on the number of ScoreCard Rewards you can redeem, except that you may only redeem one ScoreCard Reward per online transaction. Rewards redeemed online must have a value of $500 or less. If the purchase made with a ScoreCard Reward is less than the amount designated on the ScoreCard Reward, you will forfeit the remainder of that amount. Unless otherwise specified, the ScoreCard Rewards issued by DICK’S Sporting Goods Inc. will expire 45 days after issuance.

OTHER RESTRICTIONS

ScoreCard Rewards cannot be used as payment on an account, redeemed for cash, used for purchasing gift cards, gift certificates, warranties, gift wrap, store credit, select products, purchases of PING products, purchases made through Dick’s Team Sports HQ, online services or in-store services, sales tax, prior purchases or licenses. Additional restrictions may apply as stated on your ScoreCard Reward. All returns of purchases made using ScoreCard Rewards are subject to DICK’S Sporting Goods’, Field & Stream’s or Golf Galaxy’s return policies, as applicable. Merchandise purchased with a ScoreCard Reward may be exchanged for merchandise only. ScoreCard Rewards are not transferable. ScoreCard Rewards are not “gift certificates,” have no cash value, and are not intended for gift-giving purposes. You acknowledge that the Points have no value and that the Points and any ScoreCard Rewards issued are purely promotional. Unless and until you present the ScoreCard Reward at a DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy store in accordance with these Terms and such ScoreCard Rewards are accepted in accordance with these Terms, no right, title, or interest in the Points or the ScoreCard Reward has been earned. Nothing herein requires DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream or Golf Galaxy stores to accept any ScoreCard Reward if the entire ScoreCard Program has been cancelled, terminated or suspended. DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. reserves the right to remove any person from the ScoreCard Program in the event of any fraud or abuse in connection with the ScoreCard Program. No ScoreCard Reward will be issued or redeemed after termination of the ScoreCard Program.

General Provision

The ScoreCard Program participation and its benefits are offered at the sole discretion of DICK’S Sporting Goods, Field & Stream and Golf Galaxy, hereinafter referred to as the “Family of Businesses” or “Our Stores”. Using the ScoreCard or the ScoreCard account number constitutes the participant’s agreement to the Terms and Conditions of the ScoreCard Program. At its sole discretion, the Family of Businesses has the right to modify, add or delete any of the ScoreCard Program rules, terms, conditions, benefits or rewards, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, even though such changes may affect the value of Points already accumulated, the value of the rewards and/or the time for redemption. Participation in the ScoreCard Program is void if prohibited by law in the jurisdiction in which the prospective participant resides. If in any particular state the ScoreCard Program or DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. has to apply for any special license, bonding, permit or other governmental regulatory approval, the ScoreCard Program will be void in that particular state.
