FREE Bike Assembly with Any Online Bike Purchase

A bicycle is a complex piece of equipment that must be properly assembled and maintained in order to be ridden safely. We strongly recommend that you consult a professional bicycle mechanic to properly assemble, repair and maintain your bicycle.

Learn the options for getting your bike built and ready to ride.

Option 1: Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store

If you purchase a bike online to pick up in-store, please note that some bikes require assembly that may take longer to be ready for pickup. Complete the Bike Pickup Checklist with our Dick's teammate when you arrive.

Also, be sure to check out our assortment of bike racks to safely transport your bike to your home or destination.

Option 2: Ship to Me

If you choose to purchase a bike and have it shipped to your home unassembled, please contact your local store to arrange assembly service.

If you received instructions with your Nishiki purchase, please see Nishiki Bike Assembly Instructions here.

If you choose to assemble the bicycle yourself, DICK'S Sporting Goods and the bike manufacturer will not be held responsible for injuries or damages resulting from improper assembly.

Ride often? Schedule regular tune-ups to keep your bike at its best and to maintain overall safety. View our complete list of in-store bike services here.
