The 2025 P790 debuts an all new ultra high strength, high speed forged face material (4340M) that is 20% stronger than previous generations. 4340M’s increased strength unlocks a thinner face and faster ball speeds while simultaneously increasing the sweet spot size by up to 24%.
INCREASED DISTANCE WITH IMPROVED GAPPING
A faster 4340M face, individual head optimization, and FLTD CG™ for precise center of gravity (CG) positioning generates increased carry distances with optimal launch and spin windows for betting gapping through the set.
FLTD CG
New for 2025, an even lower CG in the long irons enhances launch and playability, while a higher CG is designed to improve spin rates and control in the scoring clubs. FLTD CG designs strategically position the center of gravity lowest in the long irons and progressively shifts higher for optimal launch and spin windows throughout the set.

Consistent Results With These Irons.
I started playing these in July of 2025 and I imediately noticed that mis off center hits stayed straighter and distance loss was only between 5 and 10 yards. I am hitting these irons absolutely longer by 8 to 10 yards and straight. I had a slight natural fade for many years and learned to live with it. These irons have pretty much eliminated the fade and I'm not swinging any different. They feel solid but light at contact. Look great too. I also notice that my dispersoin of shots on my 6 irons is really tight now for example. My game has changed to many more just on the frog hair missed from the bunkers, If these are in your budget and you want to see improvement without having to go to the improvement style clubs these are the ones to try. I'm 70 with a swing speed of 90-93 on average and these have given me additional distance without swinging any harder.
