P790 Irons

The p790 irons are my favorite irons by far. The fastest irons I have ever hit

P790’s All The Way

Best set of irons that I have owned yet. Look great and feel great on contact. Helped me drop my handicap by 2 stokes so far 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

2025 P790

Used the trade in program to get these and am pleased so far. Loved the 2023 P790 irons i had prior and can see a slight improvement and overall nicer look over the ball with these.

P790s Helped Me Overcome Surgical Limitations

After two shoulder surgeries, reconstructive knee surgery and a torn bicep, my previous P7MC irons were hard to compress and I lost a lot of yardage. After a fitting session I went with the P790s with Steel Fiber shafts. The iron's face has a larger sweet spot and more forgiveness. And that's just what I needed. With about 10 rounds played with the new clubs, my index is heading back down to where it was before all the surgeries...single digits once again! The customization process with TaylorMade was a breeze, and the irons arrived as promised and looked fantastic. On the practice range, I didn't need to hit more than 10 balls to realize some of that old magic was back. Thanks to TaylorMade designers and builders. They do GREAT work.

Awesome clubs super forgiving contact feels greats and they look great

The Bridge Between Game Improvement & Blades

The 2025 P790s are a great bridge between game improvement and true players irons. Obviously you have to feel them in a demo, but the ball flies off the face and thanks to the acoustics and speed foam, still feels soft. The satin face look is very professional, no glare in the sun, and the chrome backs provide sleek contrast. Distance dispersion can be a little large, as these occasionally produce major fliers, but forgiveness is strong on mishits. Would recommend for those shooting 10-20 over par.

Wow!

Unbelievable irons. Feel buttery soft and launch high. Easy to shape shots. These irons can fit a wide number of handicaps. I have never been more consistent striking irons than now using these clubs.

I got these 790s for my son who lives in Dallas Texas. He has a 4 hcp and he shot 74 the first time he played with them from the tips. He said slotting was great but he seemed to get 1/2 club more than his gen 6 Pxg’s. They are a great fit for him. His ball flight is lower than normal but spin he put on the ball was adequate to stop it.

A True Player's Iron

A really sharp looking set of irons. An excellent match of forgiveness and playability will lead you to many walks to the Green with a Putter in hand.

Best Mid-handicap Irons On The Market

I have always been a Titleist guy until I hit these irons. They are the best irons I have ever hit. Remarkable forgiving and buttery smooth. TaylorMade has won me over and the only left for me to replace now is my driver and 3 wood.
