My 9 year old son started kid pitch baseball this fall season. He plays travel ball and his coach made it manditory that the boys wear a cup. He tried wearing one in the sliding shorts pocket but every time he bent at all, the cup would pull away from his body and stick out between his legs. The jock straps just were not comfortable at all for him. The briefs work perfectly. They hold the cup in place and tight to his body. He is a pitcher so, he bends and kicks his back leg up constantly. The briefs work great! Now if I could just find mens sizes to fit my older son when he plays! He plays 1st, and catcher. He tries a combination of boxer and jock strap. It is n't very comfortable at all for him but, I can not find any mens size briefs to hold a cup.
