You just need to work out the bottom lace fit/ looseness else it can rub on big toe knuckle if too tight. Top race day shoe, not much in it between this and other “ super shoes ”. This outsole just lasts longer. Onto Pro4 ’s, which look great but sadly sound bit softer, less mileage outsole and not getting amazing reviews atm from mates. C'est la vie

For me, they addressed the issues with the 12 in the new version 13. The step in feel is much better, a little added padding around the heel and on the tongue. The upper a big improvement, including the lacing system. Midsole to me feels a bit softer and responsive, likely due to more Lightstrike pro( Adios pro 4 version) and the outsole is still great. If you 're comparing these to the Evo SL, it 's an apples to oranges comparision. Boston 13 's are more designed for marathon training, and IMO have a more snappy ride that 's also slightly more stable than the Evo SL.

I was a little hesitant to buy this shoe. I ’ ve been a big fan of the PureBoost and the Parley Ultraboosts and was worried it would feel too squishy. You definitely feel the difference in the cushion, but for me, it was in a good way. I ’ ve been running for more years than I want to disclose, and I am appreciating the extra spring on the step of these. The only reason I didn ’ t go 5 stars on all categories is because they are new and I can ’ t fully assess the durability yet, and for my feet, so far nothing has matched the PureBoost for fit.
