This 3 wood is perfect if you like a taller face for teed up shots and want to be able to have more adjustability. Forgiveness is fine despite it being the more difficult of the GT line to hit. If you are a competent player( not you weekend players shooting above 90) you will find much to like here. I recommend the gt2 or 1 for less skilled players.

While not the biggest fairway wood in the Elyte Line, this is certainly the longest hitting. Deceptively long to a point that I found myself 15+ yards beyond where I usually hit my 3- woods. For it's size, the 3 wood is forgiving than advertised. And being a Callaway fairway wood, it is also easy to launch the ball off the deck. And that's the key... being able to easily launch the ball off the deck is one advantage this fairway wood will have over a Mini- Driver.

I tested this out at my local golf shop and this was the hottest off the face would I 've ever hit my entire life. If I had some money saved up, I would dive straight in and get the three wood with a stiff shaft, but I think I 'm gon na have to wait until the next generation when this generation lowers in price no matter how bad I want it. The reduced contact with the turf actually makes a huge difference for me at least. The launch monitor was showing great results and I could feel it even without the launch monitor. The ball is popping off of the face like it was nobody's business and compared to the G4 40. I felt that this club had a better feel and overall weight distribution, as well as as I simply prefer the set up look of it. If you have the money, I would highly recommend this, it is certainly on my wish list.

I love my Pings. I got to use them a few times before the cold weather set in. I would love to find someone to help fit them to me and make weight adjustments. If I was to complain about anything it is the grips. When I pull my club out of the bag I slide my hand down the shaft to the grip. My fingers will catch on the grip and flip the grip back a little. I can see that tearing after a while. I will probably re- grip them. It kind of gave me the feeling they cheated out on the grips. That is the only thing that disappointed me seeing this is the most I have ever paid for clubs.

I went into the store to look at the Ping G430/440 and the TaylorMade Qi35. I spoke with the gentleman working and after talking for a few minutes it was suggested and I agreed, I should have a driver fitting session. Honestly the Callaway wasn ’ t even on my radar at the time I was just getting back into golf and had done minimal research. But the day came and after hitting approximately 90 balls with every major driver manufacturer it came down to the Ping G430 and the Callaway Elyte. Both drivers felt good but at the end of the session the numbers told the story. I was driving farther and tighter with consistency from the Callaway!! I ’ ve hit the range and a couple of rounds since then and I ’ m extremely pleased with the club. Also worth mentioning is the fitting session was fantastic! It was very interesting looking at the performance numbers.

I purchased the Elyte driver to replace my Rogue ST. The driver is roughly 10 yards longer than the Rouge and does seem to be more forgiving for off center hits as well. I loved the driver so much that I purchased the Elyte three wood to replace my Rogue ST three wood. Completely satisfied with the three wood as well. Well worth the expense.

This replaces my older Titleist 3H and it was just time for a new club. The old one was banged up and while this looks and feels similar, it is even MORE forgiving and easier to hit straight and long. I 'm a 20+ handicapper and I probably swing this club 8 times a round- it's my baby.

I 'm 79, have lost swing speed and distance and never hit drivers well. A friend recommended the Callaway mini- driver. Happy days are here again. I 've had mine for six weeks and love it. Feedback is great and I 'm hitting fairways regularly. I have mine set to 13. 5 degrees loft and can control flight height with tee height. Set- up is great and I love the way the ball comes off the face. Ball impact sounds good. Distance is better than I expected, and I love hitting this club. Balance between the club head and Denali R flex shaft is great. Looks, feel, and results all are outstanding. I highly recommend this club.
