This is the club anyone who doesn ’ t like hybrids should have. I ’ m 77, have played for 50 years, and don ’ t like hybrids. As my swing speed has slowed my ability to get middle irons up has dropped significantly. Hybrids didn ’ t help. I now have an 11, 9, and Heavenwood Paradym fairway wood in the bag and couldn ’ t be happier. Not only is the peak height excellent, but the distance gapping is much better. While not the biggest fairway wood in the Elyte Line, this is certainly the longest hitting. Deceptively long to a point that I found myself 15+ yards beyond where I usually hit my 3- woods. For it's size, the 3 wood is forgiving than advertised. And being a Callaway fairway wood, it is also easy to launch the ball off the deck. And that's the key... being able to easily launch the ball off the deck is one advantage this fairway wood will have over a Mini- Driver.

I tested this out at my local golf shop and this was the hottest off the face would I 've ever hit my entire life. If I had some money saved up, I would dive straight in and get the three wood with a stiff shaft, but I think I 'm gon na have to wait until the next generation when this generation lowers in price no matter how bad I want it. The reduced contact with the turf actually makes a huge difference for me at least. The launch monitor was showing great results and I could feel it even without the launch monitor. The ball is popping off of the face like it was nobody's business and compared to the G4 40. I felt that this club had a better feel and overall weight distribution, as well as as I simply prefer the set up look of it. If you have the money, I would highly recommend this, it is certainly on my wish list.

Approximately nicknamed the Mini Mini- Driver. Why you ask? Ball speeds are ridiculous! Forgiveness, on mishits, but especially on low strikes is on another level compared to every FW we have ever tested. I assume that is a combination of the Tungsten and the 10x Ai face. This launches higher than my tour issued Smoke Ai Triple Diamond, flies farther, and is light years more forgiving. Callaway absolutely nailed this design! My advice to you is to go up in loft, meaning if your FW is 15*, get a 16. 5* Elyte Ti because if you don ’ t, you will create a new gap in your bag. This club is a unicorn head similar to what the Triple Diamond Max head has done for Drivers. It ’s truly the best of both worlds. Go get fit!!! Do not buy blind, this club is different than what is in your bag.

Long Knocker 3 wood
I purchased this 3 wood due to having the older G400 that I liked but it was a 14. 5 degree. It was straight and good of the tee but in the fairway it would not get much height. This G430 however is a 15 degree and I get the ball up straight and long. My golf buddies hitting drivers on some holes and I 'm usually 15 yards or so behind them. After a while they started asking what are you hitting... Also I went to a regular shaft vs stiff.

I love my Pings. I got to use them a few times before the cold weather set in. I would love to find someone to help fit them to me and make weight adjustments. If I was to complain about anything it is the grips. When I pull my club out of the bag I slide my hand down the shaft to the grip. My fingers will catch on the grip and flip the grip back a little. I can see that tearing after a while. I will probably re- grip them. It kind of gave me the feeling they cheated out on the grips. That is the only thing that disappointed me seeing this is the most I have ever paid for clubs.

I ’ m going from a TS3 to a GT2 and it ’s remarkable how forgiving this club is. In virtual golf I ’ m getting about 15 yards more hitting it 275- 280. It ’s cold where I am now and courses are closed but I went there anyway to tee 10 balls off the first tee. 8/10 in the fairway and the other 2 were right in the fringe. Can ’ t wait until next year to play some rounds with this. Had a great fitting at dicks and tried multiple shafts and lofts until I found my best combo.( 10 degree with Tensei Blue)

Yeah great off fairway. Great off a tee. Great ball flight and distance. The biggest thing is that the tsr3 has some forgiveness and small loss of distance on slight off center strikes. Surprised to say the least.( No it ’s not game improvement club forgiveness but there still is some)

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it was a big upgrade from my old 3 wood( 10 years old). First time I took it out to play and striped it 240- 245 onto the green on a long par 5. I had a couple shots with it when needed to shape the ball and worked fantastically with shaping and felt confident with it standing over the ball. I ’ ve switched to Titleist for driver tsi3 and this wood now and don ’ t think I ’ ll be going to another brand anytime soon.

This is a club that offers lots of adjustability in spin and launch. The sliding back weight makes this feature possible. Club has a solid feel at impact and a muted sound, not loud or clicky. You have to play around with the loft sleeve and back weight to find what works best. Correct shaft is a must.

Still settling into this club on the course, haven ’ t quite found the groove yet compared to my old R11 2- wood that it replaced. Feel off the face is amazing and the ball consistently flies high and long, seems to be better off the ground than off the tee, but that ’s probably( definitely) me and not the club.
