The Hoka One One men's Bondi Sr shoe is my second pair of Hoka One One men's shoes, first recommended by my orthopedist. This recent purchase gives me two pair of Hokas so I do not need to wear the same pair two days in a row. They are supportive and very comfortable. Hoka One One has moved forward over the past several years from the downright ugly shoes I first purchased to today's styles. The down side to the shoes is that they are borderline clown shoes-- big in the forward( toe) section, not svelte.

I was looking for an alternative to wearing my regular golf shoes because I hurt my big toe and it was very sensitive to the touch. As I combed the internet, I came across Tommy Bahama's OluKai Ulele Golf Sandals. I was skeptical at first, but since I 'm a Tommy Bahama guy, I knew they were going to be top quality. And I already had a couple of great OluKai sandals. So, I figured I could always return them if they were going to work for me. I was particularly concerned that the sandals only came in even sizes( e. g., 8, 9, etc.), and I wear a size 8- 1/2 E. So, I had to make a choice and chose the smaller 8 because I figured they need a be a bit tight to play golf anyways. I had buy then without seeing them or trying them on because none of stores in Orange County, CA have them in stock. This is not my normal practice when buy clothing- and especially shoes because of my sensitive feet. I ordered online and the sandals were shipped to me in time me to wear them at a charity golf tournament. When I saw them, I loved the color combo and the design and knew I was keeping them even if they did n't work out on the golf course. When I tried them on for the first time, they felt a bit snug, so I was worried that wearing them for 4+ hours of golf may not work. Plus I was worried that the golf club would n't allow them to be worn( dress code issue). So, I brought along my regular golf shoes just in case. To cut to the chase, the OluKai's were not only perfect playing in, everyone asked me about them and remarked how great they looked. When I told them they were golf sandals, none believed me. My golfing buddies said they had OluKai sandals that looked like the ones I was wearing, but would n't think of playing golf in them... until I showed them the soles. I too was initially skeptical that they would hold on grass. Well, they did well even in some areas of the course where the grass was wet. The only problem I had was hitting out sand traps. I had to shake out the sand off the sandals... which worked psycologically to say to myself `` avoid hitting into sand traps. '' By the end of the day, my feed back is that: 1) they look great( so I find myself wearing them all the time); 2) great fit( although I still wish they came in odd sizes); 3) comfortable to wear all day for golf and afterward as well( I kept them on to attend the awards banquet and drove home in them); 4) they actually work as an alternative to traditional golf shoes( these sandals are going with me when I go to Hawaii); and 5) the quality of OluKai is clear in the materials and the way the sandals are constructed( the price point is perfect for Tommy Bahama customers). Lastly, I think there are going to be a lot more sold when the word gets out, so start thinking about adding more color choices and a line for women.

An added benefit... when it is wet outside and you walk indoors, they maintain a good, solid grip on what otherwise would be a slick floor. I thought they ’ d be too narrow but they have much more structure than the I, and I like the wider base of the sole on these. The black looks really nice with a few accent colors. I wish the bottom had a funky color like the others, but that ’s just me! I ’ m not a runner or athlete so haven ’ t tested these in actual fitness situations but love them for all day wear to the office. Not too tight on foot. A little slippage; yet I appreciated room for foot to move and expand on days our walking exceeded 6 miles during a hot summer day. I wore no show socks. I was very happy I packed these shoes for the trip and look forward to wearing more now that I am home. One note: small gravel pieces can make their way inside through mesh. After a recent foot surgery I was needing a comfortable tennis shoe I could wear with shorts or a sundress while on vacation. Tried these on and they were perfect. Wore them out of the store. I prefer wearing a thin sock with them but without worked. They will look great with jeans at home.

Love these tennis shoes. I love the way they look and the way they feel. They are very comfortable but a little tight putting on. Once on, they feel fine, I wear a 7 and ordered a 7 but maybe a 7. 5 would have been better although I do n't remember if half sizes were offered.

These shoes provide all- day comfort, alongside slip protection on slick surfaces both outdoors and indoors. The arch support is comfortable, and helps to keep my ankles from rolling slightly inward( as they tend to do). My toes have all the space they need to move, which adds to the all- day comfort. These are my favorite kitchen shoes that I 've found so far( in 15 years) by a long shot.
