Does exactly what I was hoping the hat would do- shield me from the sun. The visor is great because it's large enough to shield your whole face from sun. Runs a little small and was on the bit pricey side( hence the 4 stars) but overall I 'd buy it agian.

I never write reviews, but I really like this hat. I have a small head and it's hard to find a hat that fits. This one is adjustable. I 've been able to keep it on while hiking in the wind because of the chinstrap. It's water resistant. Plus it packs well. And most importantly, I like the colors- gray and pink.
