[ These pants are seriously the most comfortable, lightweight, athleisure pants I have ever worn. First of all, the fabric is so soft and lightweight that it's impossible to get overheated in them. Second, the fit is perfect as it is tapered just enough that the pants do n't feel baggy, but still loose enough that you do n't feel like you 're wearing tights. The design makes these feel more elevated than any kind of sweats and they works super well with any outfit. The pants have zippered pockets, which makes it so nice to make sure that your belongings stay where they are meant to. I have had other pants where my phone constantly fell out. [ I have now worn these black Dri Fit pants with adjustable ankle elastic several times. It took me a minute to figure out that after I tighten the elastic, I need to hide the cinches by tucking them into the pants at the ankle. I would like a more elegant solution for that, but it was really nice to be able to adjust the ankle fit. The pants are versatile. I ’ ve worn them out walking in various temps and they kept me perfectly comfortable. I expect that they will be really nice for indoor workouts as well. I wore them kayaking on a warm day and they not only kept me cool but also kept me pretty dry! The pants look great with a minimal tee or tank top. I have also worn them with a sweatshirt when it was cooler. I ’ m at the point now where I just throw them into my travel bag no matter where I ’ m going, because they are likely going to be useful.

I pull them up when I need to cool down or to put on my shinguards, socks, cleats and/or running shoes. I love the high waist and it ’s just enough tightness to keep them up but not too tight so I can ’ t pull them down and take them off easily. I am a search and rescue volunteer and climbing wall instructor who spends my time in Arizona and Washington state. Working in a wide range of environmental conditions requires that my gear does the same. I ordered the large Basin pull on pants, using Mountain Hardware ’s sizing guide, and I found them to fit true to size. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Basin Pull- On Pant while climbing and hiking in the sun and the rain. The DWR finish repels water and worked well during light rain while climbing. I also found the fabric to be surprisingly rugged while remaining breathable. My favorite feature is the rear zip pocket. I never want to risk losing my phone while climbing and the zip pocket always keeps my phone secure when I am moving on the rock. While the elastic waist with the adjustable internal draw cord took some getting used to, I have found it to be comfortable while having great range of motion and mobility. The Basin Pull- On Pants are a great all- around pant for climbing, backpacking, or spending time outdoors in a variety of conditions.

I am a rock climbing guide who guides across Colorado and Utah and its important for me to have gear that works well, is durable and looks professional. These pants are great! The sizing, though was tough. I 've previously owned the MHW Cedarberg Pull On Pant in a Large. Those pants I could barely pull over my butt. They fit the waist already but had very little stretch to pull on. This time around, I got an XL in the Basin Pull On and they are a bit too big. They do n't fall off but without the drawstring tied they are quite loose. I have a 35 '' waist and a 33 '' inseam. I wonder how a Large would fit... I enjoy this pants for climbing in as they provide a ton of movement. They fit nicely under the harness with the elastic waistband but the drawstring is a bit annoying with a harness. I am typically not a fan of `` drop in '' pockets because larger/heavier things tend to `` drop out '' but there is a zippered rear pocket which provides security for not loosing things. The straight leg design is great for movement and makes these comfy but they are tad bit too wide for my liking. Anyone who is looking for a comfortable climbing pant would be happy with these but they have less utility in the multipitch world due to the lack of thigh pockets.

I 'm a indoor climbing coach and instructor and an avid outdoor climber as well in the New England area when im climbing outside I need my pants to leave me with the ability to move and those pants knock that out of the park. These pants are fantastic. They are extremely durable and resilient against rocks and dust. On top of that the DWR finish the does an awesome job of being water resistant on rainy days and very flexible on normal dry crag days. The security pocket is a fantastic addition to all the features that the pants have to offer because when you need to take your ID with you on climbs ypu know it will be safely zipped away and not as easy to lose in the end. These pants can handle any scenario for any type of person. Great addition to my climbing gear!

As a climber, I need my pants to stretch, not bunch up under a harness and be comfortable. The Basin Pull- On Pants tick all those boxes. I love not having to try and fit a belt on with my harness, I love the weight, stretchiness, and durability of the pants, and I love that I can wear these around my house as glorified sweat pants. These pants are almost perfect. My only critique of these wonderous pantaloons is that they do n't have a zipper. If I 'm going to be wearing a pair of pants under a harness all day, as I often do, then I want an easier way to `` relieve myself '' than awkwardly wiggling my waistband from under my harness. I know this is a little picky, but I still love these pants and still give them 5 stars. Also, I 'm 5' 9 '' 165lbs. and the Mediums fit great.

Sorry about their review title, I couldn ’ t help myself. Lol grate pants, fit well at the waist down to the knee but cut quite slim at the calf. Every time I get up from sitting or get out of the car or off my motorcycle. I have to do the pull my pant leg down with the other foot routine. Not a big deal. Just a bit annoying. I love free, fly products, top quality I have been a fan from the start.

I normally wear a size MD in the Breeze Jogger Pants, however, a size MD in this new style was just too baggy looking and it appeared I had enough room in the waist line to drop down a size. Hopefully, the SM will be a better fit. I love the look of these and just live in the Breeze line all summer to protect my legs and not be too hot!
