Zippered pockets allow you can carry keys, wallets, etc. when off the court without worrying about things coming out of your pockets. Leave them unzipped on the court for balls. Waste elastic is a bit more constrained though so definitely make sure your size it matched to your waist as they 'll has just enough give to get over your hips.

Another great Railay style. Purchased in medium in black and willow. I thought the willow color would be more khaki/taupe but it was kind of a lavendar- pink in person. I am a search and rescue volunteer and climbing wall instructor who spends my time in Arizona and Washington state. Working in a wide range of environmental conditions requires that my gear does the same. I ordered the large Basin pull on pants, using Mountain Hardware ’s sizing guide, and I found them to fit true to size. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Basin Pull- On Pant while climbing and hiking in the sun and the rain. The DWR finish repels water and worked well during light rain while climbing. I also found the fabric to be surprisingly rugged while remaining breathable. My favorite feature is the rear zip pocket. I never want to risk losing my phone while climbing and the zip pocket always keeps my phone secure when I am moving on the rock. While the elastic waist with the adjustable internal draw cord took some getting used to, I have found it to be comfortable while having great range of motion and mobility. The Basin Pull- On Pants are a great all- around pant for climbing, backpacking, or spending time outdoors in a variety of conditions.

I am a rock climbing guide who guides across Colorado and Utah and its important for me to have gear that works well, is durable and looks professional. These pants are great! The sizing, though was tough. I 've previously owned the MHW Cedarberg Pull On Pant in a Large. Those pants I could barely pull over my butt. They fit the waist already but had very little stretch to pull on. This time around, I got an XL in the Basin Pull On and they are a bit too big. They do n't fall off but without the drawstring tied they are quite loose. I have a 35 '' waist and a 33 '' inseam. I wonder how a Large would fit... I enjoy this pants for climbing in as they provide a ton of movement. They fit nicely under the harness with the elastic waistband but the drawstring is a bit annoying with a harness. I am typically not a fan of `` drop in '' pockets because larger/heavier things tend to `` drop out '' but there is a zippered rear pocket which provides security for not loosing things. The straight leg design is great for movement and makes these comfy but they are tad bit too wide for my liking. Anyone who is looking for a comfortable climbing pant would be happy with these but they have less utility in the multipitch world due to the lack of thigh pockets.

I 'm a indoor climbing coach and instructor and an avid outdoor climber as well in the New England area when im climbing outside I need my pants to leave me with the ability to move and those pants knock that out of the park. These pants are fantastic. They are extremely durable and resilient against rocks and dust. On top of that the DWR finish the does an awesome job of being water resistant on rainy days and very flexible on normal dry crag days. The security pocket is a fantastic addition to all the features that the pants have to offer because when you need to take your ID with you on climbs ypu know it will be safely zipped away and not as easy to lose in the end. These pants can handle any scenario for any type of person. Great addition to my climbing gear!

As a climber, I need my pants to stretch, not bunch up under a harness and be comfortable. The Basin Pull- On Pants tick all those boxes. I love not having to try and fit a belt on with my harness, I love the weight, stretchiness, and durability of the pants, and I love that I can wear these around my house as glorified sweat pants. These pants are almost perfect. My only critique of these wonderous pantaloons is that they do n't have a zipper. If I 'm going to be wearing a pair of pants under a harness all day, as I often do, then I want an easier way to `` relieve myself '' than awkwardly wiggling my waistband from under my harness. I know this is a little picky, but I still love these pants and still give them 5 stars. Also, I 'm 5' 9 '' 165lbs. and the Mediums fit great.

Every time I get up from sitting or get out of the car or off my motorcycle. I have to do the pull my pant leg down with the other foot routine. Not a big deal. Just a bit annoying. They are the only plain and simple jogger- style black pants I have found in women's sizing for officiating. They are n't baggy. They are tapered but without a cuff or notch so the bottom looks clean. They have regular front and back pockets with no extra seams or decoration. They have no belt loops and the waist tie can be inside and unseen. I 'm 5' 6 and the length works for me because they are meant to be a little shorter so they are n't bunching at the bottom like some pants are for me. I bought 2 pair because it was so hard to find a basic pant like this. I hope they hold up after multiple washings, So far it has been fine. I wish they were a little cheaper or went on sale, but as much as I have worn them, I felt it was worth it.

I bought these a few months ago to have a dressier version of sweatpants to wear while WFH. They are so comfy and stylish, flowy and a nice rich denim color but not anything like denim. I just ordered a second pair! I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ” and an XL( baggy so I could get a L but I love the extra fabric) With the high waist drawstring, the length is good.

I love these jeans. They are soft, comfy, and very cute! The waistband is on the tighter side but not really a problem to get over my hips, and the length is about a half an inch longer than I 'd like but not enough to bother getting them hemmed. They can be casual or dressed up with a nice top.

Love these pants. I read some of the reviews, but they are just too darn comfy. I did go up a size based on the seam splitting and pulling. I have n't really seen much of an issue, but they are a bit more on the bigger side now, which I love. Very cute and comfy pants. I 've gotten lots of compliments.

I struggle to find pants that fit my thin waist and bigger hips and thighs. These fit me very well and the waistband is very comfortable. They are stretchy which makes them great to move around in. I have yet to wear them climbing but I think for chilly weather climbing they will be great. The material is thick, so I expect them to be a bit to warm for hot weather.
