May take a few extra seconds to retrieve the balls due to the individual pockets and some ball bounce off the yellow and red if hit directly, but still consider this a 5 star!

It works great, the thing I like a lot is that each colored square has its own `` sock '' so after balls are done you can see the targets he was throwing too when getting them back out. The Che took about an hour to set up, and the machine took 5 minutes. You do need to buy the pitching machine balls, but it's worth it. I use it about everyday if it's nice out. I have been watching this Marucci pitching machine for a couple of weeks and searching everywhere for a review with no luck. Today I spoke with a very nice lady at my local DSG and asked about the return policy. I was afraid that like many other products, this would advertise 60 mph and actually do 25… she told me 90 days, just to make sure I saved all the packaging. I got it home tested it immediately with real baseballs and was my target at 46 feet consistently for the most part. I switched to dimple balls and grabbed the pocket radar and I was constantly hitting 54/55 mph at 46 ft on target. I was using a 9 hole target and 18/18 balls hit a pocket!

It seems everytime we get anything that ships through FedEx, we get an expected delivery date. '' What does that even mean. I checked the status for the next 2 or 3 days before it finally went out for delivery and arrived. Is this Dick's fault? YES! It ’s a bit of work to switch the legs back and forth from the baseball to softball ones so you pretty need to do one or the other in one session. My daughter feels like the low profile legs give her pretty realistic look at how pitches come at her on the games which is a huge plus compared to having hit her off the baseball machines. She is about 4 foot 1 so not a big girl, the gear is a bit big for her but I was able to tighten it up to fit good which she will have plenty of room to grow into it more an as she gets older! This catchers gear was deffected, leg straps do not work, strap on chest protector broke. We drove 20 mins to original store purchase In Cerritos mall, to then drive 30 mins away to West Covina. We had our account receipts but in store associate did n't want to accept. It was n't until we went to West Covina and we had customer service on the phone who spoke to the store manager. We then were able to exchange. There is no need for us to drive over and hour, wait around 30 minutes, go through 4 on the phone associates and 3 in store associates.

I picked this up for the local little league that needed catchers gear for their single A team. As someone who caught before I 'm familiar with the gear and what good quality gear looks like. This set is so much nicer than what I had when I was in little league. I really like the velcro connected straps as they provide solid yet easy to attach and detach. The shin guards are sturdy and look to provide solid protection. The chest protector is also nice and thick and I like the added padding for the throwing shoulder as that's something Ive seen missed in a lot of sets. Finally, the helmet is solid as is the face mask but the face mask provides very good visibility which is essential. All in all, I 'm happy with this as is the team.

The Marucci Catcher's Select Kit is very very well made kit. The helmet and face guard are solid. The chest protector attaches via buckles, and has a shoulder pad that can be mounted for right or left- handed players with velcro. The shin guards are nice pieces too, however they attach via velcro; that makes them very quick to take on and off versus buckles, but we 'll see how long the velcro holds up.
