It is of exceptional quality, durability, material and protection. The velcro straps are flexible and the toe guard can easily be removed by velcro as well. The quality is top of the line, with the small price tag. It can easily be tightened or loosened, and can be removed quickly and effectively. The leg guard provides protection for the top and side of the foot, and goes up to about the shin covering areas subject to being hit. The material on the inside is comfortable and durable and stiff, yet it can also be bended to fit perfectly. The straps are n't itchy, and the guard does n't limit too much movement of the swing and while running. If the toe guard is attached, it can limit some movement, except there's the tradeoff: Protection, or easier flexibility while running out of the box. Nike's guard is also very light and compact, making it almost impossible to tell it's on. It can fit adults and middle/high school players.

I had a hard time finding a leg guard for my son and the Nike guard fits him just right and he says it ’s comfortable. It gives him the confidence to stand in the box and not be afraid to get hit in the leg. Will be buying the elbow guard soon as it was a great fit as well. Just wish they had the leg and elbow youth guards in the color white but no big deal.
