Product prevents holes from forming on the drag foot for pitchers. You will need some small heavy duty clippers to cut the material. Make sure to sand down the top surface of the cleat for good adhesion. Product has lasted an entire travel ball season. It is easy to apply.

Bought these both for daughters cleats and tennis shoes for fast pitch, saves us some$$$ on buying shoes each year as she is growing. Pitchers these days need their spikes and their tennis shoes or turf shoes and it's not fun if they are growing to keep buying both each year, so we put the turf toe on cheaper shoes and cleats to get them by until they stop growing.

I purchased the leg guard because it has the ability to be used on both legs being a switch hitter. Otherwise, I would have to buy one for each leg and that gets pricey. It is light weight and fits great on both legs. I do n't have to worry about hurting my leg on a foul tip because it cover the whole ankle and foot.

I had a hard time finding a leg guard for my son and the Nike guard fits him just right and he says it ’s comfortable. It gives him the confidence to stand in the box and not be afraid to get hit in the leg. Will be buying the elbow guard soon as it was a great fit as well. Just wish they had the leg and elbow youth guards in the color white but no big deal.
