[ The Air Zoom GT Cut Academy basketball shoes have quickly become one of my favorites. They fit nicely and are very comfortable to wear. I have found that they provide a good amount of grip on the court, which is a great feature. The materials that were used to construct the shoe are of high quality and lightweight, but still offer good stability. The design of these shoes are nice. Although the colors of this particular pair seemed a bit odd to me at first, I have grown to like them more as I wear them. The Air Zoom technology is also a great benefit. However, I am a little concerned that the soft mesh material around the toe may tear after extensive use.

As for fit and sizing it is true to size compared to your normal Nike shoes like Nike Airforce 1 or Nike Sabrina 1 and the foam material makes it extremely comfortable. The design on the shoe with cool green swoosh on the back pops out with speckled dust on the foam. As for the outsole material on front foot is using air zoom and the heel and rest using some kind of soft foam both are extremely responsive and makes the shoe extremely light. I love shoes aesthetics reminds me very much of Nike Sabrina 1 and overall, the mesh material used makes it easier for breathability for your feet and less sweaty. I love overall the comfort of the foams used and for extended use makes all the difference. I would not change anything, just a great starter basketball shoe with great comfort and style.

[ Great outdoor shoes! I ’ m typically not a fan of low cut basketball shoes so I was hesitant in getting these shoes but I now have a different opinion! A little bulky and stiff at first but after shooting around and running in them a bit they felt amazing. They have pretty good bounce and response to the cement. The grip is also pretty good for doing sharp cuts and drives to the basket. Overall it has great foot protection and is lighter than your typical mid top or high top basketball shoe which is a plus especially for someone who can ’ t jump that high. Great design and colorways too. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

I had absolutely no issues with my heel slipping, my shoelace actually came undone and I played about 3 minutes with an untied shoe and was able to run around just fine. [ As the title says, these are 5 star shoes… for the right foot. The material feels premium, with a smooth lateral portion of the upper and a softer medial side. I ’ ve never worn a shoe that felt as good as these do under foot. They are soft, bouncy and almost spring upwards when you jump. The traction is incredible on the court, letting you change direction on a dime, or as close as you can if you ’ re slightly past your prime like I am. I also really liked the heel. The shape and padding kept my ankle pinned down and comfortable with almost no slipping. I really do like the design and look of the anthracite, with the two distinctly different blacks. Different both in material/texture and tone. The gold specks in the laces stand out more than I would have guessed and the metallic GT on the heel and swoosh on the lateral side give it a futuristic and premium look. They truly are a top tier basketball shoe but they won ’ t be for everyone. I have fairly flat feet, which makes them wider than most but they aren ’ t wide enough to buy wide specific shoes. The lateral side has a sharp inward curve right at my smallest toe and puts pressure on that toe. It was noticeable the first time I put them on and so I wore them around my house causally for about 3 hours and after the first 30 minutes, I really didn ’ t notice the pressure and they seemed to give and break in a little bit. The next day I played in them and I felt a bit of pressure initially, but over a 2 hour session they didn ’ t cause pain and I really liked the rest of the fit and positives that the shoe brought. It will take a few more sessions to decide if they will work for me long term but I ’ m willing to give them a shot because under foot feels so good. I will note that they were really hard to get on, especially the first time. When I got them, I was so excited I immediately attempted to put them on with casual cotton socks. The material stuck to the bottom and the upper and when I moved my foot inward the socks basically didn ’ t move and gave my foot basically a sock wedgie. To make it even harder to get on, the medial side is all one piece that joins with the tongue and only truly opens laterally making the fit tight. After failing with casual socks, I switched to Nike Elites and that helped a lot but still took some finagling to get them just right. If you love the design of the shoe and want a premium basketball shoe, try them on and see how they fit your foot and walk around. If thenfir works, you ’ ll be getting an amazing shoe.

It ’s such a unique design, so I was not sure if it would perform on the court, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love these! The insole has grip that kept my foot in place while cushioning my foot during cuts to the basket and side to side. The outer sole grips the court and provides great support all game long. The heel lock kept my feet from moving in the shoe and the air holes kept my feet cool. It did take a practice or two to break in the heel, but now it feels amazing. [ As the title says, these are 5 star shoes… for the right foot. The material feels premium, with a smooth lateral portion of the upper and a softer medial side. I ’ ve never worn a shoe that felt as good as these do under foot. They are soft, bouncy and almost spring upwards when you jump. The traction is incredible on the court, letting you change direction on a dime, or as close as you can if you ’ re slightly past your prime like I am. I also really liked the heel. The shape and padding kept my ankle pinned down and comfortable with almost no slipping. I really do like the design and look of the anthracite, with the two distinctly different blacks. Different both in material/texture and tone. The gold specks in the laces stand out more than I would have guessed and the metallic GT on the heel and swoosh on the lateral side give it a futuristic and premium look. They truly are a top tier basketball shoe but they won ’ t be for everyone. I have fairly flat feet, which makes them wider than most but they aren ’ t wide enough to buy wide specific shoes. The lateral side has a sharp inward curve right at my smallest toe and puts pressure on that toe. It was noticeable the first time I put them on and so I wore them around my house causally for about 3 hours and after the first 30 minutes, I really didn ’ t notice the pressure and they seemed to give and break in a little bit. The next day I played in them and I felt a bit of pressure initially, but over a 2 hour session they didn ’ t cause pain and I really liked the rest of the fit and positives that the shoe brought. It will take a few more sessions to decide if they will work for me long term but I ’ m willing to give them a shot because under foot feels so good. I will note that they were really hard to get on, especially the first time. When I got them, I was so excited I immediately attempted to put them on with casual cotton socks. The material stuck to the bottom and the upper and when I moved my foot inward the socks basically didn ’ t move and gave my foot basically a sock wedgie. To make it even harder to get on, the medial side is all one piece that joins with the tongue and only truly opens laterally making the fit tight. After failing with casual socks, I switched to Nike Elites and that helped a lot but still took some finagling to get them just right. That said, I do wish the tongue and ankle collar had a bit more padding — they feel a little thin. Traction is phenomenal — hands down the best I ’ ve experienced. A true hooper ’s dream. However, durability isn ’ t the strongest point. I wouldn ’ t recommend playing outdoors too often, as the outsole wears down quickly. The shoe is super flexible and springy. The insoles have a nice texture that enhances both comfort and responsiveness, which is great for long sessions on the court. The ZoomX technology in the heel is soft with excellent compression — big plus there. The only real downside for me is the height. On- court, I would ’ ve preferred something slightly lower cut. Still, I love the overall style and would absolutely recommend this shoe to any hooper looking for a high- performing pair. The fit was true to size for me( I wear a size 9). It fits snugly, so no worries about slippage. If you prefer a looser fit, consider going up half a size.
