On a hanger it very much looks like a rectangle and doesn ’ t seem like it will give much definition to your body shape but boy was I wrong. I tried it on and fell in love. It has an elastic band in the back that helps define your shape. The 24. 7 dress is also so buttery soft and feels very luxe. It is a thicker fabric but still very breathable and comfortable. I wore it once and a bathing suit cover up and once as a normal dress out to lunch. It worked well for both occasions and I got lots of compliments on it. Very nice fabric, I love all of the garden island and hemp fabrics from patagonia. This is super oversized, I ordered a size down to a medium and it is still big on me. I have a B bust so I ’ d recommend buying based on your bust size and not hip size. I have large hips and I sometimes have a hard time wearing large bottoms, there ’s plenty of room for my 45in hips in the medium. It ’s super low cut and so I ’ ll probably modify it per patagonias recommendations on their site to make the straps a bit shorter.

This color “ Safari ” is so unique when it comes to tennis clothing- very chic and used often in ‘ real ’ world but not so much in athletic apparel. Fit is great- love that there is a built in bra w substantial support and as a one piece I also love how high waisted it is. You can certainly pull it down a bit if you don ’ t like wearing dresses high but I LOVE all things high waisted bc of my height( 5 ’ 11) and this dress gets it right. You need to be careful however bc the skirt is of delicate material and can( and will) snag if you aren ’ t gentle with it. I did notice a very small snag in mine during my first wearing of it while teaching a lesson- which was a bummer. So be gentle if you can! Tons of compliments and looks great with a tan. Plays very very well and is not too long nor is the skirt too heavy whatsoever. Highly recommend and once my size is back in stock I ’ d love to get the purple one!!

[ I got this for Ericka, and I ’ m starting to think the material is actually made of oxygen and magic. She absolutely loves how light it feels — she keeps telling me it ’s like she isn ’ t wearing anything at all. I ’ ve watched her do about forty test- spins in the living room just to see the pleats move, and honestly, if the wind picks up while we 're out, I might have to tether her to the ground so she does n't float away. The highlights: The `` Weightless '' Factor: It ’s her new go- to for the heat. She ’s happy, which means I ’ m winning. The Material: It ’s so soft and light that she actually looks forward to putting it on( a rare feat for anything with a zipper). The Crowd Control: I will say, since she started wearing this to the court, the tennis club has never seen as many people in the stands watching matches. I ’ m not sure if it ’s her backhand or the dress, but the `` attendance records '' are definitely being broken. If you ’ re looking to score some major points, this is the one. Just be prepared to hear `` It's just so light! '' approximately 100 times a day. Total game- changer.

[ I really like this dress it's super cute the colors are really nice this is flattering there a couple things about it the way of the back it is open and it shows a bad tan lol. also the waist could be a little bit tight in comparison to the rest of the dress. I wear a sports bra underneath, because the top is a bit loose on me. Overall, the dress is really cute and I look very stylish wearing it.

The only negative was that the description indicated there was a pair of shorts that came with the dress and mine had none. Not sure if that was an oversight or if the description was incorrect.
