My son saved all of his birthday money to buy this bat and he loves it. He hits' nukes' with it. It's a bit heavier, he's used to- 10 and this is- 8, but it's made him stronger. He tried a few other brands in- store but this was the one he liked the most. Tapered handle is a plus. He's a 10U player and average size for his age. This bat will hopefully last a few years!

My son and I went to look for a 29/19 Cat X Connect. He wanted to try a connect after having a 27/17 Cat 9 Pastime 1 piece and a 28/18 Cat X 1 piece. We were surprised that DSG had Cat X2 ’s out. He tried both the Connect and 1 piece 29/19 ’s and he really liked both, but chose the Connect. The whip of the Connect took a minor adjustment, but he loves it now and only wants Connects going forward. He is an average sized 10 year old with some power and he hit amazing at his tournament( which was 2 days after we purchased the bat) with his new bat. We highly recommend, this is an awesome bat. My son loves Marucci bats and we are lifelong customers. Grab this bat and watch your kid crush!

Bought this for my 13U player in 31in- 5. He loves the speed of it, the pop, and the 2 piece feel. Hes been swinging a- 5 Marucci for 2 seasons now so he loves it. He says it swings lighter than his previous bats.
Composite bats are known for their lightweight construction, which allows for faster swing speeds. They often provide a larger sweet spot and improved performance on contact, resulting in better distance and accuracy. Additionally, composite materials can enhance the overall feel and comfort during play.
Choosing the right length and weight for a composite bat depends on the player's height, weight, and strength. A general guideline is to select a bat that allows for a comfortable swing without sacrificing control. It's beneficial to try out different sizes to find the best fit for your playing style.
Yes, composite bats are available for various levels of play, from youth leagues to high school and collegiate competitions. They are designed to meet specific regulations and performance standards, making them suitable for both recreational and competitive players. However, it's essential to check league rules regarding bat specifications.
The lifespan of a composite bat can vary based on usage and care, but they generally last longer than aluminum bats if maintained properly. Players should avoid hitting off hard surfaces and should store the bat in a cool, dry place to extend its life. Regular inspections for cracks or damage can also help ensure optimal performance.
Composite bats can be affected by colder temperatures, as the materials may become less flexible and more prone to cracking. It's advisable to avoid using composite bats in temperatures below 60°F to prevent potential damage. Players should consider using them in warmer conditions for optimal performance.
Different types of composite bats can vary in terms of barrel size, weight distribution, and construction techniques. Some may be designed for power hitters, while others focus on control and balance. Understanding these differences can help players select a bat that aligns with their hitting style and preferences.
