I live in a cold and icy place. I was needing a boot that I did n't need to lace up, kept my toes a bit more warm, and had traction. This boot is that! I previously was wearing my blundstones but on- 20 F nights I just was n't having it anymore! I 've now been wearing these Bogs for a few weeks and in( almost) all sorts of condition. They were definitely a bit stiff the first 2 weeks I 'd say. But now my foot easily slips in and out of the shoe. I noticed a little bit of rubbing on my ankle in those first two weeks but that has gone away. I have high arches and usually put some inserts into my shoes. I tried that for a bit with these and found it to be a little tight. They are comfortable without the inserts but I might try again in the future once they are completely broken in. Overall, happy with my purchase! I have only kind of slipped on the ice once- which is great great improvement from before! Woohoo!

We recently got snow where I 'm at and this time of year it's always wet, heavy, slushy snow. These are the perfect boots for that. These will be the boots I slip on everyday to go from the gym/yoga studio, running errands and everything else I do during the day. After the gym I put a skirt or tunic on over my leggings put these boots on and go about my day. They fit true to size. I 'm a 7. 5 to 8 in Fallen, Black and 8 fits great. I like these boots. They are comfortable- I have a wide foot and a high arch; these boots have a wide toe box and a good footbed. No walking fatigue or foot discomfort. They are not insulated, so don ’ t expect a go to winter boot for long days outside, but great for slushy days and the office. 4 months in I see no quality issues, no water intrusion- granted I have not fully submersed them in water, but no problems for daily Michigan winter use. I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

Love these boots. They ’ re really comfortable. I looked at a lot of boots before deciding and I ’ m glad I landed on these. I love the sole. I walk a lot in them and am comfortable, just like my Chaco sandals, and I love having a more aggressive tread on the bottom. They ’ re cute but super functional. I needed to size down. I ’ m usually an 8 in boots but the 7 worked for me better. I have a narrow heel and the my feet were sliding out of the 8s. They ’ re not extremely warm, but they are warmer than a regular casual boot and they are waterproof! I ’ ve worn them outside when there ’s melting snow and my feet stay dry. I just wouldn ’ t buy them as your “ snow boot ”, but they ’ re a great, cute boot for cooler days. I ’ m a teacher who has to be outside quite a bit and I wear them to work all the time.
